Wanted to build a misting system for my orchids hanging from the overhang....and this was so easy to install and secure. Setting up the timer and hose access was easy and out of the way. We love it!

No leaks distrusted water equally to each valve. Super durable and the quick connect seperarate this product from all the other misters out there. No drips at all just a perfect mister

We really wanted it as a plant waterer on our outdoor courtyard when we leave town. We added a timer to the mister and it worked great. When we are home, we can set it up as a cooling mister for the courtyard.

I am using this kit for a run through flower beds and hanging plants. Installation was straight forward. Be sure to really press the hoses into the mist heads. I actually purchased the white and the black. They were a little different. The black was easier to work with.Mist heads were shaped differently, and the hose line was slightly different sizing. They did work together though. The black also had built in slots for Small nails/zip ties to run through to secure. The white did not. Any nails used to secure were on top on the tubing with the provided saddle clamps on the white misters.. The Black ones are called "T-Joint misters", and the white ones called "misters". With that said, splitting the line would have been a process with the white ones. I did purchase some brass T-Barb fitting, 3 way Union, but purchased the wrong size (Seller states the hose is 1/4" around, and I bought splitters for 1/4" internal. My mistake.) With the design of the Black T Joint Misters, the mister was removable and I was able to use that as a junction. Much better design on the Black version.I purchased this highly customization kit, and the space I was running through and across were not in regular intervals. Many of the pre-made kits have heads spaced out so many inches/feet apart, and it would have wasted a lot of water pressure. I have 130 feet of Hose running (again 2 kits, with only 18 heads misting.) Each kit came with 20. The pressure from the first head, to the last works. As for the misting. It is definitely a mist. I tried to mess with the heads, but any more water coming out heavier on one head, lowers to pressure on the line. Again, I have under one kits worth of heads on the line total, just longer than standard. Any Breeze/wind can change the direction of the mist very quickly.I paired this with a Timer to turn on daily (at midnight) to maximize water without evaporation. This solution may not remove the complete watering of flowerbeds/garden regularly, but helps when the temps get really high, you forget a few days in a row, or go on vacation/weekend trip. I would imagine this kit if great for some of it's other usages, as the mist is fine but not drenching.I would rate the Black set 5/5 and the white set 4/5 due to the T Joint split allowance/pre-mount holes, on the black, and the easier connections/removal on the Black set. I would have purchased the Black set 2 times instead of one and one, knowing the differences.

I've owned high pressure misting systems before and was skeptical about this low pressure mister. But I rolled the dice given the low cost and the fact that I did not want to hear a pump running on my back porch. I'm glad I did.I live in Texas and it has been hitting 105 on a fairly consistent basis. Since I was installing it outside on a patio, I wasn’t concerned about the water that you get from low pressure systems. I simply wanted to drop the temperature a few degrees. I also have my own water well, so I was also not concerned about the amount of water I used.I bought this system and was able to custom cut the length between each nozzle and strategically place them on my outdoor patio light wire strand. It took no time at all to install! I ended up with 25 nozzle heads and each one took about 30 seconds to cut (the tubing) slide on the nozzle and zip tie to the wire strand. Of the 25 nozzles, 24 worked great and one appeared defective (sprayed water from the side of the nozzle). I realized I had more nozzles than I needed (nozzles above tree limbs collect water on the leaves and then drips) and was able to simply remove those nozzles and replace with the extra tubing. After installation, I installed a simple and cheap filter (since its well water) and turned it on. I was amazed at how well it worked. A perfect mist over the entire back patio with no pump sound. I then installed a wifi enabled timer/valve so that I could then control it with my phone. It worked perfectly as well. The valve says that I am pushing .22 gallons per minute thru the system. After it was all done and the 105 temperature on the porch had dropped to 88 degrees (and the humidity was up to 52) , I decided to use the extra nozzles that I had taken out to water the flowers in a bed next to the porch. I was able to quickly and simply run a line off the main line and encircle a tree with four misters just above the bed. That too worked perfectly. It does get fairly wet on the porch after running it for five hours but the porch is very comfortable even in 105 heat. Today is the first day I've run it and the relative humidity is relatively low (28%) and these systems work best in low humidity (some kinda science thing where the increasing of humidity from 28% to 52% cools the air). I'm guessing that on a hot and humid day, I won't see the same 17 degree temperature drop. I will update this review if the "comfort" is not appreciably better on a hot and humid day or if the misters start to block. But even if they do start to clog, replacing them takes literally 10 seconds.I don't ever write reviews on anything. But this purchase and my initial thoughts on the "value" compelled me to do so. I will certainly be purchasing more of these for other areas around the ranch.
