I ordered this to replace my very old front porch light. Installation was straightforward and relatively easy. I really like the was this looks and all of the adjustability in terms of sensitivity and duration. I also like that it takes light bulbs with regular sockets so you can choose the style and brightness. Very pleased with this!

A little bit difficult to line up the bolts to the holes but love the light once it was installed!

This is a very elegant looking light and elevates your porch with its modern design. The installation was pretty straight forward following the instructions. Might want to note that the bulbs are not included and you would have to buy your own. Ideally you might want to read through the Timer and Sensitivity settings and set it according to your needs, before you install it on the ceiling, although adjusting them later is not a big deal as well.I've sensitivity set somewhere in the middle and it senses the cars moving on the streets all the way from the porch, so I would say its very sensitive. The timer can be customized more to our needs on how long we want the light to be on, once it senses motion. Those are the 2 main functionalities of the light, similar to the other ones out there. Overall its a nice addition to our house elevation and brightens up the porch in the night.

First, I was blown away by how easy this was to install. Thankfully, I watched the video that is on the product description, and that made it much easier and quicker.I love that I can adjust how bright I want the light to be, and how long I want the lights to remain illuminated after they first turn on. Since it's motion-detection as well as dusk-to-dawn, it's saving me even more money than a standard dusk-to-dawn light would do.And lastly, I love the sleek and minimalist design. It's unassuming, but definitely eye-catching once someone notices it.

Very easy installation and works great. I do think I’ll be cleaning it out often because the glass that goes over the motion sensor doesn’t fit snugly to the edges. The motion sensor is a little long and you want to be careful when tightening the bottom glass so you don’t break it. Also the two screws that hold it to the mount were two short so I had to improvise and find longer ones to use. I’m still happy with the light and it was a good value for the price.

Here is my experience with this lamp,Cons; 1) The light arrived Bent, however, I was able to straighten it up enough to where you won't notice it unless you really look at it and see the ripples. 2) You have to remove the bottom plate of glass to install the lamp, and also to replace the bulbs from time to time. That plate of glass is held in place by four screws that have rubber washers on either side of the glass to keep the glass from chipping/cracking. It is a feet of dexterity to try to hold that plate above your head and install those four screws with the tiny rubber washers on either side of the glass. It was ever so tedious and aggravating because those tiny gaskets on the inside of the glass / lamp would move just enough to cover the hole or they would just fall out of place, hit the ground (they are tiny) and they're not easy to find when they fall 8 to 10 ft and bounce around outside. Finally I was so aggravated that I put a dab of glue on the four inside ones to hold them in place while I installed the screws with the other washers from the outside. (Remember this when we talk about number three next) 3) The motion detector (looks like a black dome in the center of the bottom plate of glass) is supposed to be sealed up against the glass by a rubber grommet that's installed in the plate of glass. However, this particular lamps' motion detector is about 3/16 of an inch too short. (See the picture) I tried to unscrew it a little bit so it would come down closer to the plate of glass, that didn't work. I tried to pull on it to try to concave the upper sheet metal plate that it's screwed into, that didn't work... While I did buy and install 13-year light bulbs (The lamp does not come with bulbs) it will only be a matter of a few months before this light assembly is full of bugs, dead bugs that have to be cleaned out, I am not looking forward to removing that bottom plate again. The next time I remove that plate, I will be removing the entire lamp assembly. Pros; 1) It's pretty.

The description calls for E12 sized bulbs, which have the small candelabra sized base. This fixture takes E26, the standard sized bulbs. Although I prefer the standard bulbs, would have been nice to know since I ordered E12 bulbs at the same time that I now have to return.Other than that, it's a very nice light fixture that works great on my porch. The quality is fine for the purpose and the bubble glass is thick and attractive. No issues with installation and the motion detector feature works great.
