Made in Taiwan, which is typically better than Chinese made, and very solid. I used it to take apart a column on a Jeep YJ and it worked as advertised.

Made in Taiwan (seen in the picture, that's the cardboardish box that it was wrapped in. The latches on the plastic case are very easy to lock and unlock, but they also appear to secure it very well so it doesn't pop open when you don't want it to.All of the tools/parts feel like they're made out of steel. They're all very solid. The upper side of the case door (when opened) has a thin foam piece (not existing in the item's pictures). This holds the items more secure, so they won't bounce around and out of place, and more importantly, so they won't bounce around and make a lot of noise. Shaking the case doesn't produce much noise at all. If you're walking through the house with it, *no one* is going to look over and ask what that annoying rattling sound is, because it's relatively quiet.UPDATE 04 MAY 2015:The thin foam piece mentioned earlier came unglued or whatnot and the sticker kept coming up, so they used poor adhesive. Aside from that, I've used it many times in sequence to fix the tilt column lever in my '89 K2500 pick up. Works 100% as intended and came will all special tools to perform the operation!

Works, worked great. I would suggest this to anyone working with this style of steering wheel. Very very good quality.

This is the perfect kit for locksmiths (like me) for pulling old GM steering wheels to service the ignition lock cylinder. It also compresses the locking plate spring so you can remove the retaining clip. (if you have to ask, then you don't need it).
