The deluxe is much superior compared to the regular although it’s nice to have both. The experience is like playing a single-stringed instrument without frets.Hitting notes precisely will take time and practice, but making noise on otamatones is a lot of fun

What a cute and silly little instrument! Everyone got a kick out of this thing at Christmas. It's fun to mess around with and figure out little tunes. I do wish there were some marked notes, making it easier to figure out how to play songs, or at least making it easier to remember tunes you figured out or made up on your own. Wouldn't be hard to mark it up on your own tho. You may not know what the actual notes are, but it could help u remember where exactly to place your fingers when you do your own tunes.

This thing rocks so hard and it's annoying and I love that about it. If you know how to play it it's awesome If you don't know how to play it it's hilarious. I got the cool colors like it's like a unicorn color I don't know. I'm pretty sure anybody could use it pretty easy I'd say to use. It's also super adorable. Also it's not my first one I have one of the small ones too. Anyway stay cute like me.

I am amazed at this musical instrument, and yet can't stop laughing at it. My grandson asked for this for Christmas. When I showed it to my son he wanted one also. I will be waiting on their duet
