About this item

  • This module gives you two handy little sequencers behind one Eurorack panel
  • 7 sequence and 5 song memories
  • Edit and transpose your sequence LIVE
  • Variable gate timing, including ratcheting
  • Can daisy-chain multiple modules using the XP IN/OUT jacks

Attention: this is a kit and requires assembly.

This module gives you two handy little sequencers behind one Eurorack panel. Why would you need more than one sequencer? Why would you need mini sequencers?

  • More sequencers = more steps
  • Use one for playing notes and the other for transposing those notes
  • Can be used as a clock divider
  • Run in parallel for multiple CVs / triggers
  • Each one gives you the standard CV and gate out, plus an Accent gate out. Use this to open up a filter, enable a glide, trigger a drum, or whatever you can think of.

The two sequencers will run completely independently, or you can daisy-chain them using the XP IN/OUT jacks to create sequences of any length.

Each sequencer has its own internal clock to get you up and running in a hurry, but you can connect an external clock if you need greater control of tempo or want to sync with other devices.

The module stores your latest sequence even when the power has been removed.

This module has lots of LEDs and is very shiny, but only two of them are ever on at a time which keeps it from loading down your power supply.

Now shipping version 2! Here are some of the new features you have to look forward to:

  • 7 sequence memories
  • 5 song memories (string sequences together)
  • SLUR- change pitch between steps without firing gate
  • Variable gate timing (including ratcheting)
  • ACC can be set to drop or not drop between steps, or follow gate timing for that step
  • Auto-advance step when programming
  • Live transpose (use the keyboard to shift entire sequence up or down while running)
  • Live edit (buttons you push while running get saved to the sequence)
  • 1X mode (disable to use XP IN as a reset without requiring an external gate mixer)

I've assembled many electronics kits over the last 50 or so years, and have even hand-soldered SMT components a few times, so I'm a decent solder monkey by now. When I first got this kit, it was missing all but one of the several jacks, and a few other things as well. They arrived in short order after I emailed the seller.I built the kit over the course of a few days, an hour or so each day, and after completion, only 1/2 of the unit works -- the top sequencer shuts down completely when the reset button is pressed/held, and does not work properly in other ways.I've contacted both Division-6 and the seller about this, and have gotten ZERO responses from Division-6 over the course of six or seven seeks. Unacceptable!I've gone over the kit completely with a soldering iron, making sure all of the connections are really soldered. Without a logic analyzer to try to debug the thing, I'm dead in the water. No more Div-6 stuff for me! Take your business elsewhere.

I built many DIY music kits; this is the first one that did not work. After checking the circuit several times and reflowing all the solder, I noticed that it does not boot properly. Contacted tech support, and got a response of reflow solder, check voltage to ICs and reseat ICs. This did not change anything. Several unanswered support requests and I am now done with Division-6.

Don't buy this if you plan to use it with the Division-6 Business Card Synth. This kit will require an expensive eurorack power supply in order to use it.I guess I don't understand why this exists. There are better, cheaper options for a eurorack CV sequencer. Some of the parts were faulty and the company has thus far ignored my support tickets.Just buy some real equipment if you want something for a serious setup. If you plan to use it with the business card synthesizer, prepare to spend $50-100 on an additional power supply.

I've attempted to build this twice. The first time only the top one worked. The second time both worked, but the bottom one only had a 3 octave range (not stated 5). The second kit was sans a 1k resistor. There is a lot that can go wrong with the build, so you have to be patient. Getting the front panel to line up with all of the buttons and LEDs is particularly hard, and benefits from a toothpick to shift them around through the holes in the panel.Once built, though, this thing is awesome. So many options and features.

this module is my second diy build and I am very happy with the sequencer so far. the kit came with a couple extra buttons, and led's. My suggestion is to align the buttons properly before soldering as I initially had a button that was angle properly and made the build go on for another 1.5 hrs and ended up costing me one of the spare buttons.

Fantastic kit and easy to assemble if you have soldered through-hole circuitry before. Super small sequencer for your rack and shipped fast with the latest firmware. Works great!
