The instrument produces excellent sound. The valves were very stiff, and eventually the 2nd valve did Not function so I could Not use the instrument. The seller would Not replace the valve or offer practical support but I managed to get it fixed with a local brass repairman. It Now operates smoothly and with high quality. The nickel based cornets were discontinued because some people are allergic to nickel.

The valves look like a child worked on them. The quality was not there. The third valve was stuck and would not spring back. The valve was ground with a course file. I would not order again.

More than I expected. A perfect b flat coronet. Extra spring and valve pads enclosed. A beautiful white metal tone, and the sound is excellent. A great value. If you are looking for a coronet, this one is for you. I love mine.

Although not a high-end professional-grade instrument, this cornet is wonderfully affordable for a beginner or someone who only plays occasionally. Very nice carrying case complements its nice shiny nickel finish. Grandson loves it!

I got this via a different source (Ebay) & the bell is actually smaller than my old Getzen Capri & it sounds worse. I took the valves out to clean them and there is black all over - and when I oiled with Blue Juice and put back in - they don't even depress. So totally non-functional. When it worked briefly - was hard to get any low register with it. Upper not mellow or nice. The bell is super thin. Bell sounds a bit like a wine glass when you tap it. Given that the mouthpiece is nickle plated - I won't be using that one because of the possibility of nickel poisoning. It doesn't use a cornet mouthpiece at all - but rather a trumpet sized mouthpiece. So I will use an existing trumpet mouthpiece I have - and use gloves when playing it (again to avoid nickel poisoning) Not a good sounding horn

Instrument broke after a few weeks of use. Broke beyond repair and the company refuses to refund or replace. Instrument was kept in case and not dropped. Do not buy from this company.
