Plays nicely and sounds a bit sharper than my Olds Special that I've had since 3rd grade (1967). Having trouble getting the spit out of the main tube so at times when playing it gurgles. Never had this issue with my former cornet over all the years.

I like the EaStar as a student starter instrument and purchased the LV-CR5201 because the specifications state 4.9" bell diameter which is why I purchased the horn. As you can see the bells are exactly the same, and checking the valves they appear exactly the same. The Levante spec's say Monel valves but EaStar does not state what the valve metal is. Differences - silver plate, slides are smoother, details like the 3rd valve finger ring and the spit valves are nicely finished compared with the cheap but functional EaStar. While I am upset expecting the larger bell, on first playing the horn has potential and "speaks" well with a bright sound. Customer has to decide if the finish and slides worth the much higher price.

Came brand new, oiled valves, and greased valve slides. Comes with small bottle of valve oil and cleaning cloth. Has a good tone. Worth the price.

As advertised. Solid instrument. My wife plays it but will need to get a different size mouthpiece. Still good though.

I love the Levante. Very easy to play, and has a nice tone. Well worth the $400.
