Rarely write positive reviews, with the exception of product I feel is underrated. I installed this sub in basement wall. Installation was straight-forward with in-wall bracket really allowing you to torque the screws for a tight fit. I powered thus sub with a 2.1 channel amp ZK-TB21, which powers this sub with 100W and the bass is impressive and surprisingly hard-hitting. Buying a second now for my bedroom.

After a recent man cave renovation I had installed 6 8" In celling speakers which were lacking low end. I purchased 2 of these OSD Dual 8" Subwoofers to provide a more full sound. After installing both speakers 4 8" Subwoofers in combination with my previously installed 6 8" full range in celling speakers I am in no way disappointed. My man cave now doubles as a night club with some seriously thumping bass!

It does the job it’s not a 12 inch so it’s maybe there isn’t as much really low frequency purchase some would like ( hence go buy a 12 inch sub) but I like the fact it’s enclosed and fits between the joists at standard width. Do check that your spacing is wide enough before you cut the opening, some builders don’t always space at exactly the right spacing. One thing I would really recommend is make sure you have all the front location screws in and sufficiently tight or it will rattle, once I made sure they were really secure it sounded excellent for what I wanted, it’s only paired with a 100watt sub amp, enough for what I wanted

Seems to be well constructed and very easy to install. Would like a little bit fuller bass, but for the price it’s acceptable.

La descripción del artículo indica claramente un par de altavoces, al llegar la entrega solo es un producto. En México un par significa que son 2 piezas del producto. Devolución inmediata.

I bought several Rocket UFW-10 subwoofers back in 2005. They were really good, tight bass, not muddy at all. Well, the amps all went bad on the enclosures and I didn't have the heart to trash them. I thought about replacing the amps at first and looked for the right plate amplifier to replace the dead ones on the 3 UFW-10s but I couldn't justify the spend. I decided to leave them unpowered and started using them as my main front left/right woofers and as the sub for my PC. The UFW-10 connected to my PC goes through a soundbar and is powered by a 2 channel 100 watt amp. The bass just wasn't banging with the one channel so I stated looking at adding a second subwoofer to the setup instead of buying a new more powerful amp, cost/benefit and the cost was too high for a better amp. When I checked out the specs for the OSD IWS8 and the price I decided to give them a whirl. The IWS8 mounted perfectly in the UFW-10 and now it slams with the cheapo 100 watt amp on my PC. For just $100 more I decided to do the same hack to my front left/right speakers. I added some passive crossovers to the mains. I can't really vouch for mounting these in a wall. They may be missing a little on the low end but I can say that they compliment my old USW-10 speakers perfectly and at an unbeatable price point. I would recommend mounting them with some foam rubber around the lip as pictured.

I have an old gold set I bought in 2016 it is the same speaker but the new one are black had lots of trouble with vibrations not coming from the speaker coming from their cheap plastic cabinets had to build my own frame inside the wall challenging but did it the whole plastic body I had to silicone and screw and spray foam it all together to stop it from vibrating the woofers are not like tweeters and mid-ranges they move air and they're very violent when they do it they need to fix their cage problem and then they would have a good speaker had them for many years I run 125×2 watts into two of them on each side of my room in the walls if you buy a set and you want to test them I found the best thing was dark side of the Moon by Pink Floyd the first song the heart beat you can hear any rattles and air leaks

After reviewing other models and sizes this one made the most sense. Received this OSD IWS8 inch subwoofer speaker in February 2020, this speaker was installed nicely in the lower wall of my home and works in conjunction with my whole house ceiling speakers, this speaker is wired in parallel with another 8 inch active sub woofer that is on the other side of the house to create a balance low end respond, it is driven with the OSD SMP-100 sub amp that is wired to a 4 channel speaker switch to balance the impedance of all the speakers, when driven these speakers produce a deep solid bass that help to shape the sound nicely with the ceiling speakers even at a low volume, I am very happy with this speaker and would recommend it to anyone that is thinking of purchasing it for a whole house setup. I'm using a 250w Dayton Audio amplifier () with two of these OSD Audio IWS10 drivers. I haven't been able to over-drive them yet, but I haven't tried. I get a HUGE thump when cranking the volume. In my case, they are floor-mounted in my home theater risers (one under each row). The risers are blocked off to make a nice, large solid wood cabinet which I'm sure helps the sound. You can feel them throughout the whole 13'x5' riser. The sound does not rival Boston Acoustic subs, but they are solid and amazing for the price! I'm going to install another one in another part of my basement.

For an in wall sub-woofer this is a good one. I'm powering it with a Bash 500 amp. It has a nice smooth bass to it. It is not a blow your windows out sub, but it helps to fill in the lows nicely. I've used it for about a month now with movies and music. It has helped the overall sound quality of my system which is a yamaha v673 receiver with Outdoor Speaker Depot IW545 for left, center, right and MK850's for the two rears. The one thing that I have noticed is that the sheet rock around the sub is showing a few nail pops causing a bit of vibration with the sheet rock. I added some screws which has solved the problem so far. If your looking for a sub that has a nice clean and smooth bass this is a good pick. I'm not an audiophile, but just enjoy good sound.
