Product arrived with some damage, but the seller immediately took action to make it right. The SVS subwoofer sounds amazing and really makes you feel the movies.

Well, it's been a few months now and the Bluetooth issue hasn't happened since. 5 stars. Would recommend. Now if I can convince the wife we need a second one.....Well, I was planning on waiting quite a while to review this but I guess I'll write it now....I have had this for 21 days now and as of today, the Bluetooth/app connectivity is having issues. The app couldn't connect to the sub, so I turned off my Bluetooth, but the problem persisted. I did a force stop (I'm on android) and still no connectivity. I cleared all app data cache and storage, still no connectivity. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but again, no connectivity. Finally, I turned the switch located on the back of the sub to the off position, let it sit for 30 seconds and turned it back on. That fixed the problem. The Bluetooth connectivity was really what sold me on this sub. I did get it on sale for $950 (allegedly new lol) here on Amazon, which was about $650 more than I really wanted to spend, but I wanted a 12" with some power behind it and figured if I'm gonna spend money on a new sub, I may as well get all the things I want.My wife gave me the green light when I told her there were multiple presets via Bluetooth so I could easily dial it down if she went to bed early or was studying for a test yadda yadda. Having a "day" preset, a "night" preset, and a "party all night" preset has been so useful, but not even a month in and I'm having issues with it???I built a 2.1 stereo with biaxial two way drivers and a 10" 100w sub from scratch (well, I bought the driver's all separately and made a custom tuned box for all of it) and the cheap class d "grade A chinesium" amp that I put in it hasn't had any issues at all in the last 5 years, and it sits out in the garage 24/7 in 110°heat and -10°cold.If this thing fails as soon as it goes out of warranty, I'm gonna be livid. I would only recommend this sub tentatively as of now.The sub continued to play audio, but only on my low volume setting, which is quite low and I had to spend 20 minutes troubleshooting my $950 brand new sub, just to turn the volume up. So there's that.On party mode, I boost the 20hz, 40hz, and 80hz frequencies because those are the frequencies that seem to resonate in my living room. On day mode, I try to tune it to have a nice flat response and use the room gain compensation to help do that also. This thing can crank out some serious raw SPL.BUUUUUuuuut If I'm gonna pay close to or over $1,000 for a speaker, it better work for more than a month. 4 stars because other than this issue, I love the sub. I guess I'll get used to crawling behind the sub every few weeks. In too deep now.

This thing digs deep and has plenty of power for most spaces. Infrasonic, goes lower than you can hear. Love the built in parametric eq. Not inexpensive that said.

I have a large living room with solely in-ceiling speakers, so I needed a sub capable of reasonable SPL, particularly at sub-30 Hz end of the range. This sub has been great in that regard.I took one star off for a combination of three factors.1) It does not use paired Bluetooth. That of course makes it very easy to connect to via the app; you just start the app and hey there's a subwoofer to connect to. However, it also means if you're in an apartment/condo and anyone else happens to have the SVS app, they can tinker with your sub settings.2) It has no visible light on the front side to indicate it is on. I like to know that the auto detect power is working properly, or more importantly, turning off properly when I'm done, and I can't know that like my old Velodyne.3) It costs a bit more than big name alternatives, but is made in China just like them. Not sure if that's just a reflection on SVS' size, or they take more profit. I'd pay more to have it US-made, if that were an option, but given it isn't, I would have expected pricing that was closer. I'm happy with the purchase, but would prefer to support US biz, and we'll see how it works out long term.

I got my unit from GLAM_AZON who has bricks and mortar store(s) in NJ. the parent company is Electronics Expo. Great to work with! I had a shipping issue and they went above and beyond, by a lot, to make it right. THANK YOU!Now, for the review. The unit was double boxed and securely packed. When I set it up, it was mostly just a matter of plugging in and connecting the line level inputs from my receiver. To get the turning aspects taken care of I played a trailer for the movie Meg 2 which had plenty of explosions and other loud and low sounds so I could hear a variety of things to make sure the response was good across the board. Loaded the SVS Subwoofer Android app, selected movie mode in the menus and hit save. I set the level around 60% and then adjusted the receiver bass and subwoofer level to dial it in while listening to the Meg 2 trailer. When I thought it was about right, watched the actual film. It was a perfect test for this sub, and let me tell you, no disappointment. This is the highest quality audio component I've ever purchased and it really shows. The movie was fantastic and the LFE effects were nothing short of mind blowing. My simple tuning strategy apparently worked excellent because the sub blended seamlessly with the other 5 speakers in my setup, older upper end Polk. Now as far as music goes, didn't have much time to test music but what I did hear sounded very promising. Everything was clear and fast response, and despite being a ported enclosure, not too boomy. Am looking very much forward to turning a preset to work with my typical music which is mostly hard rock and metal. If what I've seen so far is any indication as to the performance I will most likely be beyond happy with the sound. Everything about this unit is confidence inspiring. Not a criticism but an observation, be prepared this thing is GIGANTIC for a 12".Based on my initial impressions, this is a must buy if you only want 1 sub and need to support a larger room. Mine is a 1000 sq ft and this thing didn't break a sweat filling the low end with earth shaking bass you can feel. I'm certainly not an audio equipment geek but am a musician, guitar player, and my ears LOVE the output from this thing. Previously I had a Polk 12 which was only about 150 watts RMS, nothing to write home about. Best decision I ever made in terms of augmenting my audio system.

Coming from a sony ht st 5000 soundbar, the svs pb 2000 pro is a beast. Been spending a few hours tinkering with the settings to get it just right. Sound tested the batman (batmobile scene), Edge of tomorrow, and of course, Top gun maverick! Got it to where the bass doesn't over power the speakers and gives you that Umph! when needed. Next step is to soundproof the basement as much as possible lol

Bought this to replace an old 10" $300 sub on recommendations and wow what a difference. This thing is truly sub-sonic and rattles the couch, cupboard, and dishes. Used in an open L-shaped 900 sq ft room for our home theater, this thing is powerful, loud, and deep. I think the PB-1000 Pro would have been enough for my needs, but I wanted to make sure it would be powerful enough at higher reference level volumes, and it is. After connecting and tuning it to about 50% volume and placed in the corner, it was time to sit back and feel the rumble. Watching Saving Private Ryan beach landing and later tank attack, this sub impressed with deep, tight, rumbling bass. Next up Avatar where Eya heard their calls for help and all the creatures stampede - wow. Next Star Wars Clone Wars opening scene where the senator's ship explodes - the impact of the explosion hits hard like you're there - wow again. Then the digital release of Black Adam where he appears and takes on the inter-gang choppers and ground assault - wow again. DD+ or DTS required for the powerful sound tracks.I have nothing bad to say about this sub. Yes it's pricey and it's big, about the size of a large end table, but it has massive output that truly extends into subsonic depths with power and precision. Highly recommended.

After deciding to replace my Onkyo sub for something of a more depth feel in sound I researched this PB 2000 pro.WOW although this thing is big in the room the difference is unbelievable, well worth the Price (Nottingham Hi Fi via Amazon)The Thuds of the old sub have gone and this SVS sub has smoothed out the levels of audio to a better listening experience.Using the smartphone app for tweaks to set up to the Amp made it easier than trying to get at the back all the time.Black ash grain wood finish is pleasingly to the eye and blends in with the rest of the furniture.Sliding into position is easy on a laminated floor but beware this could be too heavy for some to lift and move alone.1 negative although minor, the pegs for the cover no doubt would brake if not aligned and over forced, a little washing up liquid on each peg helped me install without to much pressure.Forgot about the price already.Overall not as expensive as some yet does seem pricey for average home cinema set up, it's big enough to hold a lamp not that it's for this, after your eyes and ears focus to the TV its size is nolonger a distraction.

Amazing sub and lived up to all the hype! If this is within budget then do it! If you can, try and buy two! In my room with this sub, I found that not only did it hit lower, but it also had a much flatter response running the sub sealed with the foam inserts, compared to running it ported. With this in mind, id personally buy the SB3000.I measured 16hz at well over 100db. Very happy regardless.
