When packing for my first time ever visit to Greece, I focused on traveling light. Each item of clothing that I chose to take would serve two major considerations;lightweight and multi function. These lovely, yet simple little sandals take on a supportive role of enhancing whatever I wear. They look great with a pair of jeans or simple black slacks for concerts or special occasions. Wandering through the ever present and crowded outdoor market places or visiting out of the way historically imposing churches and cathedrals, these comfy yet secure sandals slipped easily into my shoulder bag to exchange for a heavier duty sneaker for on and off the buses that took us to out of the way sights. How easy to slip them into a large plastic envelope and then into my shoulder bag. I now am sure to have a new pair tucked away for whatever occasion may arise when the versatility and beauty of this sandal may be required. One other special hint .... a simple, yet elegant scarf tucked into a purse or "carry on" will always find good use, if only when visiting the many churches and cathedrals that abound in Europe.Be aware that elegance and functionality can be achieved with well chosen items. And did I mention beautiful and well made?

Very comfortable, arch support. I like that the velcro straps are straped on the inside of the foot, instead of the outside of the foot-which is typically where all sandles are attached. I needed black sandals. I wish they came in other colors.

These shoes are the best. I am in a season of my life where my feet, ankles, and Achilles strain easily. I recently hurt my Achilles and had a trip planned to go to Portugal. If you are not aware Portugal has a lot of hilly cobble stone streets. I was worried how I would hold up with all the hills, stairs and walking. These shoes were a life saver. I walked 8-10 miles everyday with comfort. I also walked many beaches. I brought three pairs of shoes but only wore these.

These are wonderful and even better when I put in the little green arch supports increasers. This makes my sixth purchase from OrthoFeet, but that includes the two pairs…one brand new…that a podiatrist looked at and said, “These are a 9 and you wear a 9, but they are wide and your feet are EXTRA WIDE. Should I throw them away or do you want to do it?” 😱. Are you kidding? I made friends for life giving those sneakers to friends….and turned right around and ordered the exact same shoes in extra wide! (D to EE). He’d suggest DD but the EE fit perfectly! Expensive, but worth it. I’ve thrown every other pair of sneakers away and every other sandal except high heels and “slippahs” (flipflops: we live in Hawai’i)My husband owns OrthoFeet sneakers as well and we wear them when traveling when we walk for hours a day. Even the sandals are suitable for walking. I wore them on cobblestone streets in Germany and through fields on Easter Island in great comfort. (Not suitable for Antarctica! 😅)

I wanted to love these sandals. I wore them around the house and they were very comfortable and supportive. But after wearing them all day at work, the edges of the straps became very uncomfortable, rubbing and scratching on my foot. Now I am stuck with them because I have worn them, but I cannot wear them without socks...socks!!

I have plantar fasciitis and I’ve been searching high and low for sandals I could wear without my orthopedic inserts. I live in CA and wear sandals for most of the year, but since I got PF this summer, I was only able to wear sneakers because I couldn’t put the inserts into sandals or flip flops. I wish I had discovered these shoes at the beginning of summer. I have tried numerous pairs of sandals, more and less expensive, ordering from Amazon, Zappos and every other place. None of them worked for me. These sandals are perfect - I can’t believe how comfortable they are, even with my foot condition. I could easily walk for hours or even hike in them. They’re adjustable but sturdy, and the insoles are molded in such a way that they completely support my arches and cup my heels. They’re pricey, but in my opinion, worth every penny. I expect to wear them for many years.

I struggle to find attractive sandals that offer the support and comfort I need when wearing them all day. I am flat footed and have orthotic inserts in my shoes - can't do this with sandals. I have had bunion surgery on one foot & have a bunion on the other. I wore these on a trip to Mexico where I walked on concrete, cobblestone, brick and dirt. I was shocked at the comfort and support they offered during long walking days. If I wear unsupported shoes, I will wake in the night with cramps in my feet and legs. I never had any issues. They are cute and not old lady looking. I really couldn't figure out the green inserts. I put one in and then the sole didn't lay right - so I did not use them. I may give them another try, but they worked fine without them. It's a lot of money for the shoes, but they did wear really well & offered me the support I have to have.
