I bought the Orion Motor Tech Universal Front Wheel Hub Puller Set to tackle the nightmare that was my 1996 Geo Metro hatchback’s extremely rusty brake rotors and drums. Let me tell you—this tool was an absolute lifesaver!The puller set is solid, well-built, and made easy work of removing parts that had been stuck for decades. The forcing bolt had plenty of power, and the versatility of the tool allowed me to work on both the front and rear without issues. I was especially impressed with how well it handled the rusted-on drums—without this kit, I’d probably still be hammering away in frustration.Pro tips: Use a deep lug nut to attach tool to rotor/drum/hub. Soak with penetrating oil for awhile before starting. Use a breaker bar, not an impact driver. Go slowly, give it half a turn and then wait a minute. Repeat until it gives way, you will hear it pop.If you’re dealing with old, corroded, or seized brake components, this is the tool you need. I highly recommend it!

Don't bother with this puller find something better . The threads stripped out on first use.

So I have used these three times so far. The first time they worked but it felt like they were at or beyond the limit of the tools material and about to bend or break. The second time it went smoothly and the Hubs came right off. The third time one hub was on really tight. The tool once again looked like it was at the limit and was about to break. The hub still was not coming off. I walked away to get a drink of water before continuing and I heard a loud ping sound. I looked over and the hub was off. I inspected the puller and it had a slight bend that I fixed with a vise. I am not sure how long this tool will last but so far it has worked and not stripped the threads.

Bought it and returned. Absolutely does not fit on BMW’s 5 lugs rear hub assembly. I tried to fit it on different BMW models. Item bent and did not do its intended job to separate the rear axle from the wheel hub. 3 stars because item returned with no issue. Otherwise, would be 1 star.

So I just used these today to change out a whee bearing on my car. These work great. Pushed out the shaft so I could bang on the wheel hub and bearing. It came out with a little effort. These are well made tools. They feel heavy and sturdy. They are easy to use. The fit was perfect, the center bolt pushed my shaft right out so was easy to change the wheel bearing. I would definitely recommend this to any weekend mechanic who needs this tool.
