Installed a clutch kit on a Yamaha Grizzly 700 and this tool worked perfectly to change the springs out. A must have for ATV/UTV clutch work.

It does what it’s designed to do and for as often as I will need it, it should be fine. Good value for the money and simple to use. If it threaded onto the base instead of being welded I would have given it 5 stars. It would have made it not only easier but faster to use as well.

If you do work on snowmobile clutches, a compression tool is a must have item. The last one I had I made myself and it was a piece of threaded rod that came out of the bench top.I don't live there anymore so I needed another one. This one is super handy because it will mount in your bench vise while in use and then store in a drawer when not in use. I may even bring the bench mounted rod back and use the top of this one with that. This unit is built with MUCH thicker material than mine was made out of so I have no question about how well it will hold up. The ring is a bit bigger as well, so installing/removing snap rings should be a bit easier too.BTW, the SLP clutch press costs $100+ more and doesn't do anything this one does.
