This set is complete - it comes with the bookmarks, embroidery floss, needles, a needle threader, instructions and even scissors. It is a little different sewing without a hoop, but the bookmark is small enought that it isn't difficult to handle. These are a nice quick project so you feel like you accomplished something in a short period of time. Great for a beginner and for the book lover and the butterfly fan.

Good little kit with everything you need. Fabric is sturdy which is desirable for bookmarks. Pattern is stamped on so great for beginners or those of us that want an easy project. Comes with everything you need including little scissors and a needle.
