The hard drive is very portable and easy to use. It plugs in easily with usbA or usbC connection. It does get warm with extended use. The capacity of 1T is great for my purposes.

Amazing! Quick downloads, easy to use. Just plug in and go! I used it to download images or docs from my phone that I use for work so it's not taking up space on my phone or computer. It's very lightweight too and compact for storing

It claims to have around 500mbps read and write speeds but it consistently hovers in the 15-30mbps range and peaks at about 20mbps for less then a minute before coming back down to 15-30mbps

Consigliato

Perfettamente funzionante e caratteristiche in linea. Dalla gestione dispositivi o da Crystal Disk Info, viene mostrato che all'interno questo case monta un ssd Crucial MX300, quindi meglio del previsto.

In the grand universe of external storage devices, where promises of speed and portability often fall flat, the ORICO 1TB External SSD doesn't just deliver—it dominates. This isn’t just an SSD; it’s a weapon forged for the modern-day digital warrior. From the moment I held it in my hand, I knew I was wielding power incarnate, encased in sleek aluminum.Act One: The Form Factor of GloryAt first glance, the ORICO 1TB SSD looks like a relic from a sci-fi blockbuster—a device so compact and lightweight, it feels almost supernatural. The aluminum body not only screams durability but also radiates a premium finish that makes it a centerpiece on any desk. It's smaller than my phone, yet it holds an entire digital empire within its slender frame. This SSD doesn’t just travel—it glides into any pocket or bag, like it belongs there.Act Two: Speed That Defies LogicLet’s talk about speed. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface is like strapping a rocket to your data transfer. I tested it with a colossal 50GB file, expecting the usual coffee-break wait. Instead, ORICO delivered the file in mere seconds, leaving me staring at the progress bar in awe. "Up to 430MB/s read and write speeds" isn’t just marketing hype—it’s a fact that turns hours into minutes and frustration into exhilaration.Act Three: Two-in-One USB-C MarvelThe included 2-in-1 USB-C cable is nothing short of genius. Whether you're on a MacBook Pro, a PC, or even an Android device, this SSD connects flawlessly. The dual interface eliminates the need for extra adapters, making it the Swiss Army knife of connectivity. It’s as if ORICO looked at every compatibility issue in existence and said, “Not on my watch.”Act Four: A Fortress for DataThis isn’t just a storage device—it’s a vault for your data. Whether I was backing up sensitive work files, a library of high-resolution photos, or my entire gaming collection, the ORICO SSD handled it all with unwavering reliability. The sturdy build and shockproof design made me feel like my files were protected by an indestructible shield. The Finale: A Device That Sets the StandardThe ORICO 1TB SSD is more than a product—it’s a revolution in portable storage. Its combination of jaw-dropping speed, impeccable build quality, and seamless compatibility sets a new standard for what external SSDs should be. From professionals to gamers to casual users, this device elevates every digital experience to godlike levels. The Epilogue: An Investment Worth Every ByteAt its price point, the ORICO SSD is nothing short of a steal. For those who value their time, their files, and their sanity, this is the ultimate companion for a fast-paced digital lifestyle. It’s the kind of tech that makes you wonder how you ever survived without it.

I purchased this to back up my photos while traveling using a laptop computer. It served its purpose but might not be the ideal solution. First, it’s a bit large in size compared to competing products. Second, the transfer speed was relatively slow. I was averaging around 30 MB/s backing up from a CFExpress type B card. Using the same setup I was getting around 120 MB/s using a Samsung T7 drive. I can’t complain too much because the price is also significantly lower than the smaller, faster drives of the same capacity. Setup wasn’t as convenient as it was with other drives I tried. My Windows 11 computer didn’t immediately recognize the drive, I had to go in and manually initialize/partition it.
