This waxed string works great as candle wicks, or as sinew for crafts. I'm using it for the latter. Unlike uncoated string, the waxed string stays exactly where you put it when tying knots, doing macrame, or other ornate work.

I make hand rolled beeswax candles. I have had some issues with some of the wicks. I got these to help.HOW THESE COMEThese two balls of wick come in a plastic bag so they are protected from the weather if your package is left in the rain or wet area.STURDY?This wick is quite sturdy. It is not loose or flimsy like some I have used.WAXEDThis is definitely waxed and works well to put it through the metal base to put it in the tea light containers.BURNINGThese wicks burn well so far. They also can be relit again pretty easily. The wax helps keeping them burning.THE BOTTOM LINEI like these wicks and they work well in my hand rolled beeswax candles.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. So far, I am liking this and appreciate how well it works in candles.

These wick spools may look small but they're densely packed with a whole lot of soon-to-be wicks for centerpiece candles. They're made with hemp and coated with beeswax, the latter of which will help ensure smooth lighting. Looking forward to creating centerpiece candles with this product.
