I saw good reviews about this product and decided to order it. I bought 2 of them so far and they have worked so well with my seedlings. My plants are doing great. I have butternut squash, zucchini, eggplant, strawberries, tomatoes(7 kind) and bell peppers and all my plants are thriving. I will buy again.

Peet moss is a finite resource, just use coco coir it's better, sustainable, and works fantastic. Was looking to create my own "Mel's Mix" for my container gardens. I did 1/3 Compost, 1/3 Cococoir, 1/3 vermiculite and it works perfect. Plants are healthy and my grow bags retain much more water and nutrients now.

I’m finding this product extremely useful. Initially I was putting it around my plants to help with watering. Now as mix my own potting mixture I now add a good helping to the mixture and don’t have to worry. With watering restrictions this has been a great help, especially with the recent high temperatures experienced in the Lower Mainland of BC. Highly recommend.

Coco fiber is so much healthier than standard potting soil for houseplants, I will never go back. Add some perlite, orchid bark, maybe some sphagnum moss and/or worm castings and you have a perfect potting soil mix. This doesn't make the 2.25 gallons advertised if you rehydrate per the instructions, you'd have to add a bit more water to get that amount. It says to add 0.5-0.53 gallons of water, which makes a nice consistency, but results in maybe 1.75 gallons (ish) of product. No big deal, but worth mentioning. Also, after purchasing this I had to buy some sticky gnat traps following a fungus gnat infestation. I can't directly attribute it to this product, but it is something to be aware of. Also not a big deal, just need to bottom water my plants at least until they're taken care of. I would still recommend this product and will purchase again.

Normally when I pick up a brick of coconut coir at some retail store, the instructions are to add a gallon of water. These are smaller. Their a little more than 1/2 as big as I was expecting. So just be warned, if you have a price in your mind for what these cost at your local hardware store, just remember that the hardware store price is for a brick almost twice as big as each of these. With that said, they're still a nice pile of coconut coir and work great for seed starting

This is my second time purchasing this coco and I am very pleased with it. It comes in bricks that are easy to break down. Let them soak for a few minutes and then start stirring them up. Once it's dried out it is very light and fluffy and easy to work with. It's odorless, and is very neutral for adding your own nutrients.Either the measurements of the coco are wrong or the pots I got aren't the size they claim to be. Either way, I needed to buy a little extra in order to fill up 2, two gallon pots. Other than that I am very satisfied with my purchase and will continue buying this in the future.

I used this to plant potatoes and it worked great! Once it was soaked with water, it broke apart easily. It was a lot of material; I was impressed and will order more in spring.
