I use this for all my plants. I always buy in bulk and as plants need repotted I have perlite in hand. It’s great to add to plants that need more aeration and to avoid soggy roots.

Amazing stuff, really takes your plant care to the next level. Perfect addition to any soil to make it looser and more breathable for healthy root growth. Also a must have for terrarium making and succulents. Wear a mask when using it because the dust from it will make you cough terribly. The coughing doesn't last, but still if you want to avoid inhaling particles wear some kind of covering over your mouth and nose. It can also get in your eyes, so safety goggles wouldn't be out of the question either.

Super tiny, round, dry, soft pebbles. They didn’t have a smell but I wouldn’t recommend actually trying to sniff them they are a little dusty like. They held up well during shipment.
