Tangles constantly on the spool. Breaks inside the spool all the time. Doesn’t last very long. It does cut nice when not tangling or breaking off.

Though easy to install and works great, these get used up quickly, and you will need to re-feed if working on a medium-sized yard several times. I have a quarter acre yard, and just doing the boundaries and edges required two feed. This was by far the most I have had to do in comparison to the manufacturer provided unit which usually took less than one to complete.

Hard to believe, could not find this type of Trimmer String at either Home-type Box Store. They sold only some sort of useless high-fangled, more expensive string that doesn't work as advertised.

I finally needed to replace my Dewalt line and came across this one. It works well on my 18V trimmer so far and I’ve been quite impressed with its strength. It’s at least as strong as the Dewalt one. I was worried that it might turn out to be one of those lines that keep breaking but that definitely hasn’t been my experience. I’m using it on everything from sections of short lawn through to stalky weeds along mesh fence lines.

This line is amazing. I run a solo lawn care business & I watch youtube guys all the time to try to find the most reliable low cost line and thus far this is it for me. I've tried Black Diamond Vortex .095" line and this stuff is way more durable than that. It eats up when you're edging with it a little bit but only if you have to "dig" with it in the crack. If you're just doing a maintenance run this stuff is unbeatable. The lighter weight not only allows you to load about 25-30' into the standard speed feed head, but also runs at a higher RPM so it has more speed when it hits the grass/weeds and works much more effectively. Some say it is quieter as well, but I tend to disagree with that. Either way i've got on hearing protection and noise is not an issue for me. The last point is it's super affordable for its durability which is the main reason I chose it. I'm sure there is better line out there but this stuff is great & cheap, and it' makes my business more efficient not having to load as much line due to the extra you can fit in the head, and it's longer lasting durability.
