I have purchased both the single and this double outlet unit. Each work efficiently and effectively. Easy instructions to follow make this an easy purchase for patio watering.

Easy to set up. I am not lugging hoses - and sprinklers around. Thus allowed me to attach 2 seperate hoses - have one running every day for a set time. Second hose going off at a different time- longer period for everyday during the hot weather we are having. Easy to change settings.

This is my second orbit water timer. The first one leaked after a few years so I decided I would try a newer version with a brass fitting. I bought this blue coloured timer from Amazon in May 2021. Three years later it is once again leaking where water pours out of 2 holes. It is the middle of summer and we are going on holidays. I will need to buy a new timer. I would not buy an Orbit again. It is poorly made and does not last for more than a few years. I suggest you don’t waste your money. It is very disappointing to spend $90 and the product does not perform as expected. I’m surprised Amazon is still selling these timers.

I ordered two of these 2 years ago and need to replace. Had a different version (also orbit) before 2022.This year one of the two timers from 2022 started leaking through the second hose port after bringing out this spring. I noticed spider web inside and wonder if this is what damaged the device. At $60, it might be nice to have caps to cover the hose ports during winter or incase one is being left uncovered outside. The other timer from 2022 has defective digital components. If i set the clock to 6am and then set the timer to 6:01, I think I’m changing the start time but it still thinks it’s on the clock setting. It’s laggy and sometimes doesn’t convert over to the selected mode, e.g. Start Time. I have to move the dial in different directions to force it into start timer mode.Lastly, I loved my pre-2022 model that had a simple rubber lever that i pulled down to put the port into manual mode, rather than messing with the digital interface. Sometimes I just want to water my flowers and don’t feel like making selections and timers for manual mode. It would be nice if the dual port had one on each side.Overall rating is 2 star. Love the timer, but after 2 seasons it’s not lasting and i had invested over $120 in two of these timers. Wish it had the manual lever override. If i didn’t have the leak issue, i would rate this 4 star. With the digital lag adressed then 5-star.

I purchased this last year to help water some new trees we planted in our yard and it seemed to work fine for the first few months, then the problems started. The 2nd valve seems to work as expected but valve 1 only works when it wants to. The manual override button rarely works on either side so I have to remove the units entirely and hook my hose up directly which is very inconvenient. For what you pay for these things, you would expect them to last for several years, not a few months. Very disappointed in this brand’s quality. It seems to be a common theme for this model recently. I’d look elsewhere for options.

We installed about 3 weeks ago and working great. We have 2 areas with drip, one is a large berm with about 15 bushes / trees and the second is flower beds the length of the back of the home, about 80 feet. Have one set for every other day and the second one for every 3 days, different times. I've checked it and all is working well. Easy to run manually for whatever time length you specify and if you stop the system it keeps the information you entered stored. We plan to disconnect when it gets to the mid 30's at night for the few months and reinstall in the spring.

I replaced my old Orbit product which was an old version. It suddenly stopped working because of an elec tronic problem. With new batteries it would not switch on. So reluctantly i ordred a new one which arrived today. First of all I had great difficulty attaching hoses to the 3/4 inch outlet points. I never succeeded in attaching anything to the outlet black plastic. Then once attached with the brass at the top, it leaked between the brass and black plastic below, which of course because it is a sealed unit there is nothing I can do about it. I wish there was another product on the market!

Poor construction. Leaks like crazy when connected to the water outlet. I have to buy a bunch of O-rings and washers to stem the leaks. Still trying to solve what should have been identified and rectified by the manufacturer.

I have had this timer only 3 days. Had sod installed in our small yard and needed a timer for 2 sprinklers since we do not have a irrigation system. I do like this unit. I only wish I could have found a timer that allowed me to enter multiple start times. For this unit, you enter a start time for each station and then you can only program it to repeat (every 6hrs, every 12hrs, everyday, everday 2 days, etc.) Since I have new sod, I needed more than 2 times during the day. Watering at night would be detrimental to my sod. If I programmed for every 6 hrs, sprinklers would come on in middle of night. However, it's a short few weeks that I will need 3 -4 watering times during the day. I am using the 12 hr setting and (since I'm home to manage it) I can easily do a manual watering midway throught the day to keep the sod wet. This allows my to easily manually use each station and I can set how long I want it to run manually each time and it does not override the 12hr automatic settings. It would also be nice if I could run both stations at the same time. Only one will run at a time. I am not sure there is a timer out there that would have met all my short term needs but ultimately, I really like this timer. It is working as programmed. It's easy to program. It's easy to manually override. And I do not seem to notice any water pressure loss that others spoke of.

Excellent product. Would buy again if I need another one. Easy to install and set up and has plenty of options. Just make sure to remove it before the freezing temperatures appear and remove batteries and store inside for winter !

Made watering grass seed repair areas and soaker hoses for the garden effortless. Very easy to use and a good investment for the long term. Very easy to program and also put in to manual mode. You could adjust the timer length by pressing just a couple of buttons and once you were satisfied with the watering results, just leave it alone. In case of a rainy period, one touch of a button can cancel a watering cycle for a specified period(s). This timer is literally 'set it and forget it'. This is my second season using it. Removed the battery compartment in the fall and stored this in my garage (always above freezing). I was able to use the same battery again as this timer draws very little power to open and shut the valves and keep an LCD display operating. I would caution against putting to much stress (heavy hose or hose being stretched / tensioned and connected to timer) on the connections since: 1) They are plastic and could crack with too much stress; 2) The connector is brass but it is mounted onto a plastic fitting. Too much weight or twisting could cause a break of the plastic neck at the top.My neighbor has a large garden with several soaker hoses and used a version of this water timer with multiple valves. He was very pleased with the operation and stated that he could just leave the garden alone for a week and had the peace of mind that at least the watering was taken care of without incident.
