These Orangewood’s are really too good to be at this price point.I have bought 4 of them, and I’ve been playing for 50 years.These last 2 that I bought from Amazon for my Son and his girlfriend are just perfect lower cost guitars. They feature:Spruce tops, Mahogany back and sides, ebony fret board, good intonation. The guitars come set up nicely, and sound really good.If you are looking for a good solid entry level guitar, you cannot go wrong with an Orangewood.Also Orangewood stands behind their guitars, if you need help or whatever call them in LA, or email mail them. They will get back to you.I do not work for Orangewood, I just think they make a quality inexpensive guitar line.

I didn't expect a laminate guitar to sound this good or play as well. It's not a high-end guitar by any means, but they are sturdy and the three that I have purchased so far we're set up pretty well, I did need to do a minor neck adjustments on one of them, but orange wood included the tool to do it. So even if you're not familiar, you can jump on YouTube and get a general idea if you happen to need a minor adjustment. I was even impressed with the strings it shipped with. And it's hard to tell that it's not a natural solid spruce top.For this price, I did not expect the guitar of this quality.

I have purchased 5 Orangewood guitars over the past few months and have returned two of them because the action was too high. However, when you get a good one from them.....it's worth the trouble. I have two Rey's (one mahogany, and one spruce top), and I have a Morgan Live. Both of the Rey's have excellent actions and sound soooo good. In my experience, it really is a "luck of the draw" situation. The craftsmanship is never a question, just the action. I actually like the Rey more than the Morgan. It might just be the ones I have, but there is no question about their quality. I would recommend them to anyone. If you are the type of player who is comfortable adjusting the action on your guitars, then you won't have an issue. If you are not, then you will just have to roll the dice on it. Their customer service is awesome and they are very friendly. I really hope they have good fortune with their company because they are really putting out some quality stuff.

Can't get much better for 135 dollars. This plays like a guitar far more expensive. Not as nice as my academy 10 Taylor. But I would gladly put this in my collection. I bought this for my son. But now I am going to check these guitars out seriously. Very impressive bang for the buck.

A guitar that plays and sounds this good at this price is worth every penny. That it looks great and comes with a gig bag adds icing to the cake. I bought this thinking it might be good as a cheap beater/road guitar - now I'm actually considering getting rid of my solid-top dreadnought because this one sounds almost as good and is just so much more comfortable to boot. Dimensions are very close to (if not exactly the same as) a Taylor grand auditorium (the flagship of the Taylor line).

This is a perfect guitar for beginners, young or old. The workmanship is super, though it's not a work of art like some of the more expensive Orangewood models. The sound is surprisingly bright and pleasing whether strumming or finger picking. We purchased this for our young grandaughter's birthday and believe she will be thrilled with it. This guitar is beautiful, functional, easy to play and is a fantastic value. My 4 STARS for this beginner guitar is very well deserved. Please don't even bother with other brands in this price range.

All and all this is a very decent guitar with great gig bag. You will want to do a couple of upgrades like putting on better tuning machines and it needs the saddle sanded down because it comes with very high action but after sanding the saddle down and getting real low action there seems to be no fret buzz which is awesome. Replace the tuners, gotoh make good ones for a good price. This guitar sounds great and now plays great. One thing I would change about it would be that it not be a cut away instead be a full body. Satin guitars slide around a lot when sitting and playing plus the cut away makes it want to slide off my leg even more. If the rest of that lower bottom bout was there it would not be so bad. But all and all a great guitar and I see why orangewood gets high reviews

Got caught up in the hype. Should have bought a used any kind of acoustic. There is no truss rod so you can't intonate a heaver or lighter gauge string which is probably why they give you an extra set. Nice enough tone, low action.
