I usually use a more expensive brand but it was a longer wait so I ordered this just in case. My dog just had her first litter. She had 8 puppies in 5 hrs. Which is great. She is currently feeding her litter with no problem. It could be all her but I like having calcium to ensure she doesn't get milk sick if nothing else. She's doing great and I will probably save a few bucks and stick to this paste.

The 5 ml was “stolen” from the syringe. It means I paid for full 30 ml, but got only 25. Based on the portion I use for each time I lost 5 times of given medication. I used the medicine anyway, as my dogs needed immediately.

I’ve tried a lot of fast-acting calcium for use during whelping, and I like this one best so far: good value, isn’t real thick so it squeezes out easily, and mama happy with the taste.

This has the same ingredients as the others you can buy. I use it to support my dog during labor. The dosage comes out by clicking and twisting the plunger. It has 30ml total. Very happy with this item.

I have used another brand, but saw this as the one I had was almost empty. I gave this to one of my Shih Tzu girls in between each of her puppies and the first time was fine, the second time, she grabbed the whole tube and wouldn't let go and after the last pup, she figured out she could get more is she sucked it out! 😂 I would say that is a win on flavor! I have NEVER had a dog do that with my other brand I have used!

This is a must have item for any whelping dogs. Calcium deficiency is common in whelping mamas and it can cause big problems very fast. This tube of calcium is often an easy fix that dogs enjoy eating. It can improve their behavior too if you’ve seen any aggression after whelping. Highly recommend!!
