Fits perfectly and completely eliminates the slippery footing surface. I cleaned the bumper step surface twice with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove any dirt and wax. I also test fitted each side after cleaning the surface and marked the front edge and outside edge with painters tape before removing the backing to assist in aligning the grip.

I have installed steps, but haven't used to clean front windows. But it is mounted securely. Should work great.

An installation template would help, the adhesive really works well, too well if you slightly misalign them

I didn't even know that that little space was a step, but I can see it getting pretty slippery in there if wet at all. These pre-cut pads provide quite a bit of grip to secure your footing. Could you make these yourself? Sure. But they're reasonably priced so you don't have to, and OpenGlass Van Mods really researches the materials they use in their products, so I'm confident these are the best quality they can reasonably be. Recommended!
