I purchased this set 03/2024. This was after I had purchased one of the wireless competitors and was very disappointed with it. Installed 2 of the 4 cameras to try it out for a few months before committing to the whole package. Absolutely great security camera system. Picture quality is amazing, all of the features that come with it are very useful. Like zooming in and enlarging something in the distance and playback features. Very happy with it. After about 6 months I decided to install the other 2 cameras and order another 2 for my garage. Once I installed everything I realized that I was having an issue with one of the cameras. Couldn’t get it to work so I contacted Onwote customer service through email. I received a response through email approx 5 hours later. I was told they were sorry for this issue and to send them my address so they could ship me a replacement. No arguing. No annoying questions with things to try to get around it. Just great old school customer service. I feel that customer service in this country is nonexistent so to be treated this way was extreme refreshing. After replying with my address, I was contacted again to tell me that the camera replacement was out of stock. So they said they would send me an upgraded, higher resolution camera instead. It will be here in 2 days, just 3 days after the initial email. This is how you treat customers that spend money on a product. Onwote will forever be my go-to security camera company. Not only is the quality of their product top notch, they know how to treat their clients. Thank you Onwote for showing me that the old ways of buisness are not dead.-AJMaryland USA

Easy to install. You can see a clear picture on your phone or monitor. The cameras track movement during the day and night. The playback feature is easy to use and allows to store video with sound. Totally recommend this surveillance system for a small business.

After extensive research, I went with this cctv system after our HOA/yard maintenance company ran their mower into my car and refused to take responsibility. Set up was relatively moderate for your DIYers. Essentially, I ran all the cameras into my garage where the NVR and monitor are set up. Then ran one CAT5 inside to router hiding behind crown molding. NVR set up is easy but you will need a monitor with HDMI to set up. Once set up, the mobile app is very useful. I tried to avoid the monitor by plugging in my lap top to set up because I’m more interested in the phone app to operate the system, however, the lap top didn’t work. Picked up a monitor at a thrift store for $15 because I didn’t have an extra one on hand.Overall, this system has exceeded my expectations and I’m very happy with it. I will be expanding by adding the last camera that came in the 4 pack. Simply put, great product at an affordable price. Too bad it’s not an American made product though.**update**After using the system for about a week, the cameras picture quality is great for slow moving or still shots. Faster moving objects like cars are a bit blurred. In my case, from camera to road is about 50 feet. Still shots during the day you can digitally zoom in and read license plates if car isn’t moving. Very difficult to do in night mode but if close enough (not more than 50 ft or so) and still, you can. These cameras will deter which are mainly why I purchased them. In addition, I love the fact that I can send video and photo from the phone or just hop on the app and check in on my property when I’m gone. Definitely worth the price - but not the best product if you’re looking to get fine details like license plates etc.

I got more than I expected with this camera system. The car and human recognition AI in these cameras works better than I expected. After installing these cameras just a few days before Halloween it dawned on me that I now had a bright security light that would activate only when it detected either a car or a human. no more false triggers! This is a very useful application. I had recently had my catalytic converter stolen off of my truck that I park in the far corner of the parking lot. I installed one of these cameras and now have a very reliable security light that won't false every time the wind blows the tree branches. I actually have one of these cameras in a location where I have not yet run the data cable to. I simply powered up the camera from a seperate power adaptor and the human detector will turn on the light if anybody goes near my truck! I am not even recording the video from this camera yet but as a smart light it works like a champ!. Its like having a very smart fake camera! Great product Onwote!I do want to say that the cameras and the NVR (the recorder) are very high quality as well. The playback mode is fast and responsive. playback at 2x or 6x speed is smooth and easy. All of the standard features are available with this recorder and a few nice extras I have never seen on other recorders. (I have a few different systems in several different buildings) all of my Onwote systems work well and in the beginning when I was new to camera systems there customer service was like having a private tutor. They were responsive and in no hurry to to move on. All of my questions were answered with accurate information and in good english.The new cameras have an improved aiming bracket that makes getting the camera pointed and locked in the right direction quick and easy. This is a great improvement if your on a ladder. The quality of the cables are also better than I expected. One of my cameras is almost 300ft from the recorder and it works and looks great. Everything you need is in the box. Just plug it in and it starts recording. You don't really need the included quick guide just click on a few obvious icons and the operation becomes easily evident. I haven't used the mobile phone app on this system much but it the same app from some of the other systems I use and it seems to work well. It may not be quite as fast as reviewing video from the recorder location but I think that's because the recorder is so fast. The app is just fine.Bang for the buck this system is a 10. It's easy to use, looks and works great and its the smartest camera system that I own! I am happy with this purchase and may even buy another one soon!
