These cameras used a 3rd party generic mobile (phone) app that doesn't quite work well. Unlike some of the standalone wireless camera, the app sucks. The console app works much better.

I’ve had the system for about a month now, the installation was pretty painless and it was up and running in no time. We’ve had a few big thunderstorms and none of the cameras have been affected. Picture quality is good in both day and night.

The system was very plug and play. Worked great out of the box! Indoor monitor and recording very useful and picture quality outstanding. But the app is siccing on the cake. Wherever you are, whether home hearing a "bump in the night" or on the road, flip on your phone and you know what's going on! System has been very stable for over 16 months. Needed to be rebooted once... and with the lightning storms in Tampa, that's pretty amazing. But I close with the best part of Onwote... the Customer Service! AMAZING! Send them a question, perfect answer in under 24 hours! But... THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS! Had a camera problem, they sent possible solutions... when it was obvious the camera had failed, they replaced it... had it the next day! I feel like a genius for picking these folks! You should, too!

Great value for what I paid. Setup was easy (aside from running wires in the attic). cameras have good pictures and simply plug into NVR. The length of cables is in question great we get one cable per camera buy they are only 60 feet. This was not long enough for most of the runs in my house. I had to buy longer and have to use a coupler. Best to get a box of cable and run to size and crimp your own. The phone app need some work , not great . but it does show the video feed still working on how to get alerts.

Once out of the box and installed this system was everything we expected. The resolution from the cameras is excellent, the interface with the system either directly or via the net is great and the support by Onwote was immediate and helpful when needed. Purchase this and you will not regret it.

Onwote's service absolutely blows me away. They are fast to respond, they go the extra mile, they make sure any problems are resolved. I had a hard drive failure and I had a new drive within a couple of days. I'd also made a configuration error when I set up the system in the first place which resulted in something of an oddball error when it came to recording the time.... it seemingly would forget it was daylight savings time and it would change the time zone. Onwote gave me their full time and attention and even though I don't think that they'd encountered this problem before, they were able to resolve it quickly and professionally.

I have installed probably 20 or 25 video systems over the years, on the job and at home. No I don't own stock, I'm just a humble user. These systems have been not only the easiest and best quality to install, there are several more pluses that casual users never see. 1) They are the easiest camera I have ever seen to use with a bridge communication. As long as the remote bridge is working the unit quickly recognizes the camera and it's online. We have several bridged. 2) It's the most dependable and best quality Android accessible app and layout that I have ever used. The system easily accesses the internet once a network cable is connected. No ip programming has ever been needed - even on a secure network. Scan the app bar code provided and your done. 3) Great quality video. 4) And most important to me - Onwote support responds to my questions email or calls, within a day, with good quality answers THAT WORK AND ARE UNDERSTANDABLE . . . on 10 or so occasions over past 3 years, without miss. Not even the full time professional security video companies are that good, and some just blow you off. I have had those experiences with the big boys also. These folks have made me feel like a valued customer. Feels good in today's cold world.

After hours of research, I bought the Onwote 16 channel with 8 dome cameras for security and an Onwote PTZ with audio, pan, tilt, zoom and auto focus for watching my purple martins from my desk. All of the cameras are high quality videos and very easy to play back. With the PTZ camera I can see squirrels running in the tree line about 400 ft. from my house. I chose the RJ45 camera hookup because I did not want to install batteries to be changed out or worry about wifi connection. It was very simple to install. Of course I can not run around in the attic any more, so I had 2 of my nephews help me. One of them is tall enough he did not need a ladder to install the cameras under the soffit. The other is small enough to run around in the attic. None of us had any experience hooking up cameras or running wire. In 2 hours they had the 9 cameras wired and running. After about 4 months, 1 of dome cameras quit working. I emailed Onwote customer support. Support suggested a few things to check, and decided the camera was not working. 2 days later I had a new camera and installed with no problem. All cameras are working great. Onwote backs up their equipment.

Très bien , qualité d’image excellent. Juste que la compatibilité avec les fils ETH est un peu instable . Ça fonctionne avec certain et pas avec d’autres. Mais à part ça c’est un excellent achat . Nous sommes très satisfait de ce système .

I've purchased two of these NVR/PoE security systems from Onwote, and they have been a breeze to set-up and use.The first was in an office space with exposed & drop ceilings. The install was super simple, and you get everything you need right in the box (besides maybe a screw gun and a monitor for playback). The cables are sufficiently long to reach just about anywhere. The cameras were plug-and-play, looked great, and had decent audio. The GUI takes some time to understand, but everything that you'd want to do is right there at your fingertips. The second install was a bit more complicated, involving a house with a detatched garage. I needed to route some of the cameras through a network switch connected to a router, instead of directly to the NVR. Onwote support was super helpful on letting me know exactly how to connect it, and how to get the cameras recognized on the system. This time we opted for the 4K, and the image is AMAZING. I don't even have a 4K monitor to view it, but it is super detailed and crisp. Audio again is great. And this install had outside cameras, and I am amazed at just how much IR light these things put out, and really light up the image at night. The clarity and viewing distance is great. The Field of View angle is just right. I've hooked the NVR to the internet and downloaded the app, and have no issues seeing my cameras from anywhere I go. I can seamlessly playback video from a month ago, while not even being in the same state. It all just works. There is also a ton of settings that I have yet to dig into. Like setting schedules and motion detection for the cameras so they don't eat up the storage space, setting motion alarms and notifications that can be sent to your phone, fine tuning the image of each camera, etc.In short, these systems have been great. No complaints so far, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a simple but reliable solution!
