Great product, I used it 5 times on my grill over the summer, it held the heat to the griddle, heavy duty cast iron.

As you can see from the photos this obviously had some sort of coating on it which promptly joined my food as I started to cook. My food ended up with black particles all over it which ruined the meal. That is not flavor crystals or carbon from cooking that you can see on my food. It is a paint like substance. You can see in some of the photos where the paint/finish is actually sticking up off of the actual cast iron. You can also see the lightened part of the griddle because the black coating is now on my food. I ordered and paid for the higher priced plain cast iron griddle. I received a griddle that appeared to be coated with some sort of coating. The description indicated the griddle was seasoned. I checked and rechecked to see if I received the correct griddle. There is no way to tell the difference except for the number on the box. I believe both versions of this griddles are the same thing with two different prices. I have good quality cast iron in my cooking arsenal so I know cast iron. I should have returned this as soon as I saw it. I knew it was coated in something not truly seasoned as indicated. I am very frustrated with this purchase. It’s dangerous. It’s not quality. This purchase wasted my food and my time. I spent many hours investigating and reading reviews of various brand. I spent time seasoning this griddle as instructed by the brand’s website. Now I have to spend more time dealing with this problem. It’s very unfortunate that we can’t trust what is sold and advertised.

I use this on my standard Charbroil grill. I gave it 4/5 because it doesn't lock into the grill and slides around quite a bit. So, if you're putting this directly on top of grill grates, know that it will work just as well but be aware it will slide around. It did not affect my burger smashing by any means but I did have to be a bit more direct on pushing down rather than down and away. Either way - smashed burgers were incredible on this.

I bought this griddle for a Blaze grill that I have. I really dont have room on my deck for a Blackstone and my grill and was looking for something that would work with my grill. This thing is heavy and lives on my grill. Love the way it fits. The thing that really stands out is the sides are really tall and just make using this with a coupla large spatulas easy. It also doesnt have a grease hole for grease to leak down into the grill. This was important to me, not as messy. You do have to kinda watch how much grease you produce, but there is a catch area at the front that lets you keep an eye on this. Five stars for this one.

I've wanted a flat top grill for a few years, but don't like the idea of a stand alone on my back patio since the rest of the kitchen is built in. I've looked at several types of these, but they all seemed a little flimsy or would warp with too much heat.This seasoned up nicely and I was able to make great cheesesteaks and then fajitas that day. It cleaned up nicely and is definitely heavy duty. I'd buy again- but I'm sure I won't have to! This should last a lifetime (as long as my husband doesn't try to put it in the dishwasher! Lol)

So far so good. Only used it once but seems pretty good. Don’t have room for a blackstone on the deck. It also fits on the gas range perfectly so should work well inside to. Grease trough could be a little deeper.

The 25” x 16” fit my Broil King 440 perfectly, about 1” gap on the sides and 2" on front / back. Sprayed a little Pam before our cooks, only need two of the four burners on medium settings to cook bacon, home fries, eggs or sausages. Then hot soapy water and a nylon scrubber after it cooled a little, rinse with water and it looks new again. Surface is large enough to cook everything and keep it all warm until all is done. We use this more than our new LP gas grill / smoker combo now, the only negative is the front grease collector is too small. I just keep using paper towel and collect grease as I am cooking if needed, I recommend this product.

Fits my Nexgrill 4 burner gas grill and has a good weight to it. It's the perfect alternative to adding another appliance on your patio/ deck. Easy clean up and food does no stick.

This has been so much fun to cook with and use on the grill.Highly recommend for stir frys or fried rice with some sort of protein. Great purchase and would get it again in a heart beat! Much cheaper than buying an entire new flattop grill if you already have a normal gas grill!

We’d experienced a blackstone but didn’t want another appliance and this was the perfect fix! It fits our grill, the clean up is easy, the heat distribution was right on, and the food did not stick! We’re soo pleased! The perfect tool for grilling off a grate! Get one!!!

Great price. Good value. Works well. However, the non coated is easier to season. Info said this type doesn't require seasoning. I found some stuff make stick to surface, butter needed.Still good quality.

We purchased this over buying a dedicated griddle to replace a still functioning and solid gas bbq. Because the grill was still useful and the amount of griddle use would be limited it made sense to try this cast iron griddle on the bbq.It has performed above expectation. My worry of uneven heat on the surface was unfounded. The cast iron spreads the heat evenly so no hot and cold spots are evident. The griddle came Pre-Seasoned but I reseasoned it and we've enjoyed many meals off of it. A well seasoned cast iron griddle is easy to clean up and be ready for use in little time.The surface area of this griddle is perfect for our needs and the only knock I can give it is the shallow grease trough at the front that can fill up pretty quickly but a minor annoyance as sopping up the trough with paper towel drains it pretty effectively.The griddle is heavy as well so transporting it takes some effort but doable if keep nearby the bbq.So we still have a Gass bbq and this griddle provides the ability to use the bbq as a griddle too. With limited space not having two stand alone appliances is a bonus.
