My rating would be five stars were it not overpriced. It costs a great deal more than the bone broth I buy for myself in a 32-ounce carton. However, bone broth for people has salt and may also contain other ingredients that are not good for dogs. So, I bite the bullet and pay. She loves it mixed in with her wet (homecooked) food, and I know it is good for her. The shelf-stable cartons are handy.

The picture on the order shows one 17 oz container. This is misleading because you are really only getting 17 oz total!! What you get is a pack of 2 - 8.5 oz containers. So the description is correct, but the image leads one to another conclusion about how much you'll receive

First and most important: this is the only broth I found that IS ACTUALLY CAT FRIENDLY! So many broths are marketed towards cats and have ingredients that are poison to cats so please do research if you don’t go with this one.I originally purchased this for my elderly cat for the collagen to support her immune system, joints, skin, and fur. She lost all the hair on her back legs. 1 of my cats is very picky so needless to say he wasn’t a fan but my other 3 devour their dinner with the broth on it. My elderly girl even starting has hair growing back and she is biting at her skin less. Definitely a winner for this house of cats!!

My 2 year old Amstaff loves it. We put it on her dry food to make it more palatable. Also, it is an established fact that bone broth is good for dogs. Especially if they have joint issues. Now, often my wife makes a broth herself, but this container with broth is so handy to have in the fridge. Finally, aroma is so good, it suggest real deal.
