I like that it has a display on the unit itself and has all the pertinent information. Sound is great and so far is working fine. The price was a bit more than I wanted to spend but, I am happy with the product.

I ordered this "renewed" CD player because I couldn't find any brand-new ones for a reasonable price. The unit arrived in original packaging with all parts included. There is not a mark on the player. I think it is brand new and maybe returned by someone. I can't speak to longevity because I just got it.Update: when I first got unit it would play some CD's. It didn't like some of my older well used CD's but I thought I'd go with it. Now that 90 day warranty expired it wont play anything including the brand new Taylor Swift CD. I guess I'm stuck with an expensive paperweight....

Although I purchased the player "Used" from Amazon, it arrived PERFECT (and I saved almost 20%). I received an identical player a couple years ago as a present but it got destroyed by house movers. I am so glad to find the same remarkable player with 6 CD capacity, which for me is about 6 hours of listening! I love it, and should misfortune ever strike again, without hesitation I would purchase another one! :-)

Opened the box and installed it. Turned on the power and the disk tray won't work. 3rd party seller do Amazon no help. The instructions say 24 hour support but that is not true. I would advise against purchasing this brand.

Still an old school CD guy, my stereo CD player finally died after many many years. It was a great run, so had to replace it. This Onkyo 6-disc CD player was priced fair compared to competitors. Always a highly rated company, I bought it. So far, first month in, exceptional sound and functionality. The "random" play feature seems to select the same songs more than others, but no complaints otherwise. Having the remote is a huge bonus for usage. Let's hope this CD players lasts as long as my old one did.

First, I rather have a renewed product because I know that it has been tested to work, you do not get that with a new one. And you get a discount from them for doing a QC check of your equipment! Now this is a great player, it’s not Bluetooth but you have the space for six discs so it feels like you have options. Build quality is good and the electronics are top notch. Very easy to hook up and use. All I can say is enjoy.

Muy satisfecho con la compra, tardó lo normal en llegar al ser producto de importación. Venía en una caja genérica únicamente con unas estampas de ONKYO que certificaban que estaba en buenas condiciones técnicas pero con algunos detalles estéticos, además dentro traía su control, unas baterías (usadas) y sus manuales, ah y unos cables rca. Estéticamente solo tiene dos rayones casi imperceptibles. Llevo apenas dos días usándolo pero todo funciona muy bien, ha leído bien mis CDs aunque aún no lo pruebo con los más antiguos. No hace nada de ruido al cambiar los discos ni al reproducirlos. Es muy grande eso sí, creí que sería del tamaño de mi amplificador de la misma Onkyo pero no, tiene bastante más profundidad por eso tuve que ponerlo arriba. Además, al ser de la misma marca uno esperaría que el color negro tuviera el mismo tono pero si se aprecia más “claro”. Con mis humilde set, se escucha muy bien la calidad que extrae de los CDs. Valió la pena arriesgarse y comprarlo bastante más barato de re acondicionados. Yo lo compré directamente con Amazon EE.UU.Actualización 19/12/2023Estuve usando poco el reproductor por falta de tiempo, pero apenas comenzaron las vacaciones lo uso todas las mañanas, de pronto hace dos días comenzó a tener saltos en la reproducción para después tener problemas para leer los discos compactos, comienza por un chirrido y de ahí no puede reproducir correctamente la música, esto me pasó con mis discos más recientes, con los discos más antiguos de plano no puede reproducirlos o batalla mucho, tengo que sacar el disco, apagar el reproductor, volver a prenderlo, insertar el disco... repetir varias veces esto hasta que -al menos- con los discos nuevos puede leerlos.

El productor Onkyo de 6 CDs reacondicionado que recibí no funciona, no reproduce ningún tipo de disco compacto, al momento de poner play se queda así todo el tiempo y no reproduce nada, tuve una muy mala experiencia.

Works fine. Only complaint is the loud noise when the changer shuffles the discs. The unit was in immaculate condition and the shipping packaging was excellent.

Das Gerät funktioniert prima, kann aber nur mit einem Spannungswandler von 220 auf 110 Volt betrieben werden, da es für den amerikanischen Markt produziert wurde.

ONXYO is the only manufacturer of Multi-Disk CD players. Therefore quality-control is simply not necessary nor profitable. The shorter they last, the more they sell. So I figured buying a repaired and refurbished unit would be of better technical quality than a new ONXYO unit just out of the box. I thought buying a refurbished unit would function as quality control better than a new one. I have my CD player on all of the time. I will come back and let you all know how long it lasted before any trouble began. Starting yesterday. Time will tell all.1O/18/23: It no longer works. It lasted almost 5 days. But I tried putting in different CD's and now all it says is "MECH ERROR." The buttons do nothing. Turning it off and back on changes nothing. It now does absolutely nothing other than say... "MECH ERROR." I can't even get my six cd's out with out opening up the unit with a screwdriver. It appears that Amazon is ripping us off... just as much as ONXYO. Apparently not even Amazon tells the truth anymore. Apparently nobody does. You can't even get what you pay for anymore. Retail is just Rip-Off. Even Jeff Bezos: the Jewish retail king of planet Earth. Who apparently cannot be trusted to tell the truth.1O/18/23: SELF-CORRECTION: I contacted Amazon and they agreed to send me a replacement unit. After expressing my anger at Jeff Bezos... I then opened up the unit with a screwdriver and was able to make the unit work again. The CD's were simply loose. I have tried to cancel the replacement unit. I will continue to report on my consumer experience with my original "refurbished" unit. I still have another new one in the box in my closet. I am hoping for 6 months, or hopefully at least 3 more months. Time will tell.

It's hard to find multi disk CD players these days, with the prevalence of digital music many companies no longer offer them.My mother had a Bose Soundwave with the 3 disk attachment, it stopped working and Bose no longer makes them so the option were $1500 to buy a second and one or look for alternatives.The Onkyo is a perfect replacement, it is placed on top of the old media station that is filled with CDs (used to hold a receiver and cd player before the Bose) and I converted the RCA to a Stereo Jack ran a 16 foot cable to where the Bose speaker is and done. The cd player is near all the CDs and the Bose player remains small and intimidating in the living room.I love the functionality, 6 discs and the ability to swaps discs in and out while one is playing. Shuffle mode, random mode and if you want to get more advanced playlist creation.The player is easy enough to operate for the average person and all the basic controls are on the device itself. Some of the more advanced controls require the remote control.If you have a large CD collection the is the perfect player. Hopefully they continue to make it for years to come.

More than pleased with this unit. Outstanding sound quality with great options. Connect via standard analogue RCA connections or via Digital Optical that I am using. Comes with remote control, change 5 CDs while listening to the 6th. Versatile high quality CD player.
