I recently purchased the Onion Slice Holder, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets for smaller meals! Mi god, you have no idea how many times I have cut myself cutting, onions in particular, and other ingredients. This thing, is amazing, you stab the onion, tomatoes, whatever, and use it to stabilize the thing, then put your knife between the spikes and slice one line at the time, the turn around and slice the other way. Viola! Cut onions in no time. No cut finges or trip to the hospital(yes, I am clumsy). Also, perfectly even tomato slices for your sandwiches. Before that, my wife would make fund of me, telling me how I got one slice thin, one slice thick. Well, not more of that. I also use it to stabilize other slippery ingredients I am trying to cut. I make hole in steaks. To tenderize them, or at least I think it makes them softer to eat. Anyhow, thins thing is great. It also comes with a convenient cover for the spikes, remember, I am clumsy, so you don’t end up spiking yourself. What else can you ask? The price is the best thing.
