★How do I open the battery cover?
Place the back of the can opener facing the other person and hold the can opener with both hands.
Place both thumbs side by side on the back of the can opener.
Slide your thumb firmly to remove the battery cover.
Put in the 4 AA batterys (pay attention to the positive and negative electrodes).
★Operation method:
1. Place the electric can opener on the top of the can with its edge in the groove between the cutter and the drive wheel.
2. One button to start the electric can opener, after the metal gear guides the edge of the can mouth, it rotates 360° by itself and cuts the side of the can.
3. After waiting for the cutting to be completed, click again to stop the automatic can opener.
4. Make sure the cutter returns to the starting position and then remove the electric can opener from the can, at this time the magnet on the automatic can opener will also attract the can lid.
★Trouble Shooting:
During the operation, do not lift or forcibly remove the handheld electric can opener. Forcible removal may damage the blade.
Please make sure that the battery is brand new, inferior batteries may not achieve the ideal cutting effect.
If they can get stuck, please press the button on the top of the electric can opener.
Before removing the bottom cover, make sure that the motor has completely stopped.
If the battery power is depleted, pressing the button may not release the canister. Please replace the batteries with brand new 4 AA batteries.

This can opener is wonderful, I have arthritis and sometimes my manual can opener can be difficult to use. I’ve bought electric ones but they don’t always catch the lid good and you either have a mess on the counter or a nasty can lid in your food, this stops all of that. Plus I like that there’s no sharp edges. It’s a lot easier to use as well for me, with neuropathy in my hands and arthritis I’ll take anything that make my life easier I half expect it to be cheaply made but was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness

Haven't quite figured out to turn it off when it's finished. Also it is slightly bouncy while opening can. I see it comes in other colors, would have rather had a white one which wasn't offered.

I've bought two. I sent the first one back. The first one wouldn't stop until I took out batteries. The second one stops, but not for a good minute.

I ordered this can opener because it had a 5-star rating.It worked only one time for me then on the second use it opened the can ok, but the lid got stuck, and it would not turn off.After lots of pushing and pulling I got the lid off, but it still would not work.Can I give it a zero instead of a one?

I put the batteries in and decided to use it by opening some cans. When I put it on the can, I pushed the go button and this thing look like it was dancing so hard that I thought it was going to lock up or fall off, but it did cut the can nicely. I did have to push the off button to get it to stop???Otherwise it just kept grinding around the can.The second can was a nightmare. It was difficult to get it into the appropriate position and I had to try three times to get it to start. It too cut the can nicely, but I couldn’t get it to stop despite pushing the off button numerous times. But when it finished cutting the can, I could not get it to release the lid and it continued to grind that lid, even though I had it in my hand. It would not let go of the lid. I had to resort to removing the batteries to stop this thing from continuing to grind. I had to resort to some physical strength to get the lid out of it out of its grasp and could not. I returned the machine, with it, gripping the lid.
