As mentioned in other reviews, it only has 3 speeds (lowest setting is also high). Mine lasted a week and then crapped out.

My first one burnt up, not too heavy duty. If you have an older fan motor this switch will overheat.

This part doesnt fit my vehicle even though it said it would. I had 4 fan speeds, this only has 3. The shaft is smaller so the knob doesnt fit. Plus 1 speed doesn't even work. Wish I could give it a minus star. PIECE OF GARBAGEDON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT

When installed in my '97 TJ, it only turned on my fan at full speed when on the third speed option. None of the other speed settings worked. Granted the product did say that it was designed for 1999-2004 wranglers.

I gave it a 2 star rating because it did give me one more speed setting of fan than original switch, but the one speed that doesn't work is the high setting, which did work before I swapped it. The switch went in easy but it is cheaply made. It feels twisty when using selector (cheap). I can't find out how to contact company to see if they will send me a replacement and after I read all reviews, many people had issues with this product.

This is the only switch available to replace 1997 wrangler original equipment. the fit is not the same and may have some play. I could not find a switch designed the same as the original on any website. Settled for this one.

Of the three products i ordered, this switch arrived first (96 hours from order to front door, outstanding) Took an hour to install, got the installation info off of YOU TUBE. I ordered this because i had lost my 4th speed (HIGH) If you have all your three fan speeds but have lost 4 high this will probably fix you up. GOOD LUCK "BUBBAGUMP"

To future purchasers be carefull when installing. The plastic stem for the new switch dial broke off during the installation, so I had to take my old switch and the new switch apart and combine the two together to get in to work at all and it now has two settings on and high. To be honest I never contacted the seller to get a replacement.

I'm giving it four stars but just barely. It did fit and it does work perfectly so that's not the issue. The issue is that the shaft feels very flimsy. The shaft is very thin, which is how the OEM shaft is also made. Unlike the OEM shaft though this one has a lot of flex to it. So much so that when you turn the dial you can feel it flex quite a bit before the switch actually clicks to the next speed. So far it hasn't broken so I cannot justify lowering the rating any more. It just doesn't have the same feel of quality (that is relative though because the OEM switch isn't great either) of the OEM switch.

I have a 99 TJ Sport and this part was a perfect fit. Time will tell how the switch holds up, but I couldn't be happier with the fitment and functionality. My original part would only work on the two lowest blower settings so I knew it was a switch problem. If your motor works only on the highest setting - you most probably have a different problem. Use your search engine and figure out the problem you have and probable fixes.This part worked for me. Unless it fails too early - you will not hear anything more from me. 5 stars for now.
