Wish I'd bought this one before I bought the cheap one. thought the blender motor was the problem, but it was actually the cheap switch that was in the truck. This one solved my problem. Buy this one

Nothing wrong with this part, but the Amazon application information is incorrect for at least some 1995 C/K models. As noted by other reviewers, this part has only one connection for a harness. My 1995 GMC Sierra has two harnesses connected to the A/C and heater controller switch.

If you have a 1995 vehicle and want/wish/hope that you can use this, I have some world weary advice. I have spent 4 days online and on the phone.1995 Chev/GMC trucks have 2 DIFFERENT units depending where and when they were made. Early/Late 1995, and Canada or USA. The VIN sticker can pinpoint all of the fits.IF YOU HAVE THE 2 PLUG BACK....... this won't fit.UNLESS.......UNLESS you are one of the lucky ones to get to Ebay on time to buy the ADAPTER HARNESS that allows the use of this unit. There is a Michigan seller, AKAutoparts, who will relieve you of 2 Ben Franklins, but give you the magic harness that allows these units to be used forevermore in your 1995 zombie truck. Otherwise, there are NEW units that fit our trucks in Canada for $800.. There are used units on Ebay and Amazon for $350 to $750. I just did this adapter cable and the HS-505 dropped right into my dash. I have the 2 plug back.THERE ARE GM ADAPTER CABLES OUT THERE SOMEWHERE. I do not have the part #. If someone does, attach it to here. If someone bought one and started making them , and sold them, they would have an instant cottage mfg. success. The forum tales of 1995 heat/air control units nightmare are abundant.
