Perfect, we needed to either replace our unground pool steps, but couldn’t afford spending thousands of dollars and risk damaging our ancient pool. This was perfect after sanding down the osmotic bubbles, which took longer than expected. The paint is awesome and the steps look new! Year later and still shiny.

Loved it! roll it on thick it works just like it said. I had huge crack and wasn’t sure if it would hold 2 month and they still hold great!

I can’t believe we spent $300+ on a paint that peels off in our pool and stuck to a brand new $3000 liner and is now floating in our pool. We followed the directions to the letter and it peeled and the stick to our liner and made our steps look like crap! I would never recommend this to anyone. I really would like a partial refund but I doubt we will get it. As you can see in the pictures it was caught in our skimmer in big chunks.

It's nice to get an all in one kit, and the instructions were easy to follow. One thing I wish they'd include in the kit is a sanding block rather than sand paper. I had a difficult time getting my patched areas smooth with plain sand paper. The biggest thing I disliked is the high gloss finish. I didn't realize just how shiny it would end up. I know, high gloss - but it's a good thing they include silica. I'm not loving the feeling of the silica under my feet, and since we often sit on the steps watching the kids, I'm not sure I'm going to love sitting on it. Matte finish would looked better and maybe not needed so much silica. Added note on the silica - pour some in the palm of your hand and sprinkle lightly with your other hand. I had a tough time seeing the application and ended up getting too much in patches. I think a slower approach would have helped. I used the shaker top and that was too much too fast.Like other reviewers said, there is more than enough paint. I used maybe 1/4 of the poxofill (if you have ANY concrete cracks to repair, plan to do them with this at the same time to get more use), and close to half of the paint, covering my pool steps and diving board. I definitely think a few hundred dollars to DIY is WAY better than the $2500 I was quoted to have my steps professionally refinished, but if I would have to refinish again in the future, I'd skip the kit, skip the poxofill, and just do a thorough job with the Pool Epoxy paint.I can't speak to water tightness or durability yet as we are just now re-filling our pool. But after the 3 day cure we've walked up and down and the steps look fine.Overall, I think the kit is a good idea. You can just open, follow the directions and refinish your steps. Yes, there are things I'd change now that I've done it once, but for ease of having everything come in one box, I'd recommend it despite the things I'd do differently.

Pros : The Kit comes with everything you need to complete the project. PLENTY of paint left over ( enough to do 3 sets of steps ) Looks great !!!Cons : I live in a humid climate. The weather/outside temperatures has a big impact on how fast the epoxy cures. Pay close attention to the instructions that come with the kit, and you will be fine. Instructions says allow 3 days to dry/cure. It took me 8 days, but as of today, it is now dry enough to touch and walk on. Again, I do live in a humid climate. Timing is everything when completing this project.

We used this on our pool steps. Second step cracked. We applied it to all steps and they look brand new. Ease to use. It’s definitely worth money.

It turned out so much better and was so much easier than expected. We ended up painting the steps, slide, and diving board on our 43 year old pool, and still had about half of the paint left.We did miss a spot on the steps that needed patched and had to go buy another patch kit since you have to use the included stuff very fast before it hardens. The patch we bought from the store was better, but overall, we're really happy with this product.
