Rotating parts squeak a little.

This works great! For those that complain about the "squeaking", I just added a little bit of silicone spray lubricant, and this quieted it right down. Although when I work out my music is blasting so a little squeaking didn't bother me. You DON'T HAVE to buy spray lubricant if you don't have any. After all, you're working out, not sitting in a library. The squeaking is just from metal hitting metal. It doesn't affect the function of this bar. I love this addition to me home gym

-Ribbed sleeves cause an annoying sound especially when putting on included collars.-Knurling is really smooth.Overall for price really good curl bar, and included collars is nice. I use it regularly for Ez Curls and Skull Crushers, slight downsides that are mostly irrelevant especially at this price.

Just got the ez bar and instead of complaining like others do about a quick fix like the squeaking of the bar I just simply added some liquid wrench (or any lube can be used) between the joints and its as silent and smooth as can be. I normally add lube regardless of noise or not when dealing with metal on metal products that rub or rotate together just for the sake of better performance or pre-maintenance as many product sit in storage and can dry out any prelubed jointsIts funny to me the things that people complain about but to each their own. Like the person that complains about the squeaking of their fridge door that just needs a bit of lube but they rather complain and do nothing for months rather then take 5sec to make it a non issue. Great product either way
