Nothing is wrong with the planer itself. I expected it to be able to run at much faster speeds for wahoo etc with my lures and leader, but it wouldn't go past 6kt. Too much drag. A 4" skirt and seawitch with bonito strip would trip the planer. So I'm a bit disappointed. Need a much larger size.

Jim you don't have any idea how to use them then when you need them there great you need some lessons from a sportfisherman and comercial fisherman

Just dont work well and difficult to use. Wouldn't recommend these kinds of accessories to get your lures down deep.
