PROS: Solid impact printing for medical forms, business forms, checks, labels, and other specific format documents. Hardy machines that last years if properly maintained and cleaned. Have the ability to feed computer paper (papers with little holes for continuous paper feeding), copy paper (no holes, single sheets) and forms. Feature is controlled by the level on the right hand side of the device. Both USB or Parallel Printer (wide connector) interfaces available. Win 7 has pre-installed drivers for these Okidata 320/321, 420/421 models. This is the compact model. It is smaller than its same brand(even same name) counterpart, about four to six inches less in width, thus fits in a tighter space. The tiny ribbon ink cartridge used on this model lasts a LONG time(2-4 months) with relatively heavy use. The cartridge is also very easy to find cheaply online, even when original. Since I've never had any of these printers (added 8-10 to our offices as years pass) break down within 3 years of purchase, I can't attest to the warranty. Never had the chance to use it.The quality of printing is solid and adequate for office work and I find the speed of the printing satisfying, though not impressive.CONS: Staplers, clips, and other office debris can easily slide down into the tracks of the device and break it because of the feeder pans which angle down into the mechanism. Have to be careful of said junk. Establishing the exact and correct position for your forms is program, computer and printer specific. One printer might print a check perfectly .5 inches from the left, the other .25 inches from the left, with the same drivers and same specifications. A little trial and error here to find the specifics of each machine. We use permanent markers to label each proper position on the feeder pans. If printing multiple checks, and have to change between different account checks, must turn off the machine to make sure that it resets to proper alignment or it prints in relation to where it initially stopped printing. There are other ways, but they take more time than a simple reset. Must be careful that feeder cog pegs align well with the paper holes or you'll have broken paper and a mess. Thus, the device is perception intensive and not exactly idiot proof. These printers (320/321 420/421)are very loud as well, keep that in mind. Might or might not include the USB connection cable upon arrival, depending on who you purchase it from (refurnished or not). Printer Parallel cable is usually NOT included, but again have to verify with seller. Usually an extra purchase if you want to use that older interface. Must be careful of back plugs as shoving the printer against a wall might break the USB/LPT plugs and/or cables if not careful.I hope this review helps you in some way.

We bought this because it is identical to one we already have and it is required for some of the documents that we print! It does what it is intended to do.
