The glass coffee mug broke after I poured the coffee from a coffee maker. Unfortunately, I did not notice until I had most of the coffee.

My complaint. It is not13oz. With 10oz of coffee there's little roomcream.With 10oz of coffee there is little room cream.

2025-02-24. Glass Coffee Mugs by OJA. Double walled. Heat resistant. Handle. 13oz. Set of 4. Borosilicate glass.I love these mugs for their looks, but they did not perform very well to the test when it comes to insulation.These insulated coffee mugs by OJA store are made of borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is glass that is blended with silica and boron trioxide. Boron trioxide has a very low coefficient of expansion, making it more resistant to thermal shock. This means it will handle uneven heating better, and higher temperatures (microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, etc.) As a point of reference, PYREX is also made of borosilicate glass, yet the formula is different, and their products have a more soda glass look and feel.The mugs come as a set of four. I did put one of the mugs into the dishwasher to see how it would fare, and it passed the test with flying colors. No condensation was trapped in the wall liner, it didn't break, and there were no visible scratches on the mug.The heat retention test was where this did not do well. Though it was able to withstand my dishwasher that can reach temperatures of up to 500°F, the insulating properties (i.e. the double walled) was not able to retain the temperature of my beverage. To find out, I brewed a pot of coffee and poured some into this borosilicate mug and then some into another regular mug. I added an ounce of cream to each cup and stirred. I then waited 5 minutes before taking temperature readings. When I recorded the temperatures, there was only a 2°F difference between the two cups (see pictures). This was a disappointment and the basis for my rating.These cups did arrive nicely packaged and bubble wrapped within a well-separated box. One corner of the box was crushed and damaged, but all arrived unbroken.Overall, the mugs are beautiful and functional, just not effective.

I love these clear glass mugs because, as a single person whose dog does not drink coffee (LOL) and who wants to cut back on the amount I drink, I have started making just one cup for myself in the morning. I use a single pour over coffee filter cone, and I can't see how full the cup is unless it is clear, so these are perfect! I watch the level until there's just the right amount of room for a little cream, and I don't end up underfilling or overfilling my cup in the morning :-) Besides that, here is something really appealing with clear glass, so these are perfect cups for me!

These double walled glass mugs are my new favorite mug to drink out of. They are super light and the glass is so pure and clear. They handle the dishwasher flawlessly and I love the way they look. There’s something about being able to see your drink that just feels so fancy. The insulation of the double wall keeps my drink cold for so long and my hot lattes hot for easily 3x as long so I love those mugs for that. This pack is such a great value and I feel bad for all my other mugs not because I only want to use these new ones now.

These mugs are very nice. They are obviously fragile, but they don't seem as frail as many other glasses that I've had like these. The glass is not paper thin and there's just enough distance between the outer and inner walls to really create the floating effect that these are all about without sacrificing too much of the space that is for your tea or coffee. For the price, these are a nice deal and are versatile enough to use after dinner when guests are over and then use on a regular Tuesday morning while you scroll through the news on your sofa. I recommend these highly.

The set of four double-walled glass mugs arrived well packed; each mug was wrapped in a bubble-wrap bag in its own compartment of a branded box, which arrived in a sturdy “made to fit” box.We’ve been using double-walled mugs for years and this is a great set for an excellent price (under $25 when I ordered). The handles easily fit three of my fingers, the lip looks thicker but feels good when drinking, and it’s the perfect size (12.5 fl oz) for my lattes. These mugs are lightweight, help to keep beverages warm without being hot to hold, and because they are clear glass you can see your beverage, which I’m a fan of.My only nitpick is that the box states the mugs are 13.5 oz. which could be weird if you’re gifting them. I filled one with water and weighed it to confirm that each one holds 12.5 fl oz when filled to the top.I’m very happy I ordered these, because we’ve broken a few over the years. They are sturdier than you would think, but we’ve learned to be careful with ice cubes and spoons. Made in China.

I am a sucker for clear glass mugs and when I saw these, I had to have them. I was shocked at how light the box felt when delivered. When I opened them and had to check the box to be sure they were in fact glass and not plastic. They are extremely light, feeling delicate. They're very simple yet very pretty. Makes me think of hot chocolate by a fire. I'm not sure why or how this would be done but they're heat resistant up to 800*. I did put them through a microwave test. Boiled water in the cup and the handle was still completely cool to the touch. Not even warm. If looking for a cool set of mugs, i recommend this one.
