Step 1:
Spin out the the LED light and take out the button battery inside.
Step 2:
Turn the button battery over and reinstall it in the LED light.
Step 3:
Make sure the wire that is folded over the positive side of the battery when you tighten it back together after flipping the battery.
Step 4:
Finally tighten the LED light and the LED light will light up.

The light sits in a housing on the clamp. This housing is so thin that when the light is placed in this housing it splits the housing. Because of this it will not hold the light and can cause the holder to loose it's ability to secure itself to the rod. The clamp light housing can fail by just exercising the clamp without the light in place. I found at least one housing split right out of it's package. I do not recommend this product as is.

It works as advertised but does not have a very strong grip on the pole . If you forget and cast with it on your pole it’s gone …..

Some piece not lighted

I ordered red ones because my flag up indicator lights are green . So,1 came green and so far 2 don't work. I got them so my tip ups will stand out at night. You need to un-screw them and flip the 2 batteries, That are in a small black tube, In order to turn them on & off. So I also ordered small clear jars to put them in and I plan on just setting them on the tip up. When done I can just take them apart and put all the pieces loose in the jar until next time I use them. This will be the 1st season I'm using them so I'll try to up date this after I use them a couple of times. The last photo is of 2 lights in a jar just set on the tip up at 60 yards at night with no moon. It is brighter then is appears

They work great just didn't read the description good enough and had to buy the clips for them. But was still able to use them just taped them to the pole and worked great
