We cut about 8 streamers in front of our front room window to see if we could prevent the birds from flying into the window after feeding on berries from our mountain ash tree. We had tried various other deterrent products but none were effective. So far this is working, very pleased!

I tied the bird tape to stakes in my garden and it worked for about a week but in that short amount of time it became brittle and pieces of it flaked off

IT WORKS! I had an issue with birds landing on our cars side mirrors and pooping EVERYDAY!. Hung some of this around our carport and NO MORE BIRDS. Had some birds trying to nest under the porch, hung some of this, NO MORE BIRDS. Had birds trying to nest on the top of our window frames, cut some small pieces and stapled to window frames and NO MORE BIRDS. People ask if we had a party because it looks like streamers but I don't care, NO MORE BIRDS! So its effective :)

They still come on my balcony, the tape doesn’t do anything. Also it’s not a sticky tape, so you have to use actual tape to tape it down, not really practical.

I bought this after seeing something similar being used in commercial fruit orchards around my state for years. I cut it into 2' strips and tied it to our apple tree branches. I cut some of the strips length-wise (to make them thinner) for the blueberry bushes, which are young and short. I also tied some to an old garden ornament stake that I move every week or so. We live in the suburbs and the local fauna (squirrels, rabbits, racoons, and birds) are pretty brazen about stealing berries, but it hasn't been a problem this year thanks to this reflective ribbon tape.

I can see improvement using the tape near my car and it is helping to keep it clean. In my hayracks the birds are quite determined and think they have a Home Depot when it comes to nesting material. I have it woven through the frame a bit, but they are still pulling the liner apart.

No birds on balcony at all! This simple ribbon worked so well! So people know there is no tape, have to use your own tape. But this product is brilliant and so cheap!

We bought this to discourage a woodpecker from attacking our wooden posts on our patio.Once it as up, they never came back. We've also used it to discourage birds from making nests on our covered porch.

Sure doesn’t scare cormorants, herons, or ducks, at all.

I actually made fun of a lot of people that purchased this product and posted pics. I thought "No wonder they aren't getting any results, they're not even mounting it correctly." Well, I'm here to tell you that it doesn't matter how it's mounted, it's not going to help you with your bird problem.I have a farm. I put 100lb test fishing line between trees and buildings and hung strips of this tape up when my ducks and chickens started to have babies. I've watched Redtail Hawks swoop right in-between two strings of this stuff, grab a baby duckling, then take off like there was nothing there. I've seen owls perched up right above the fishing line and reflective tape. The owls don't care about anything. Not even gunshots sometimes. Tape ain't gonna do anything to them either. To boot, all the little birds are thicker than ever. I have feeders out for them and the tape didn't slow them down any either... wonder what kind of bird this tape is meant for, then?

Birds used to ruin our ripe figs, but since tying sections of this table to the branches, we've lost one or two figs in two years. I'm amazed that such a simple product is so effective.

I have this placed on my balcony railing and patio furniture and it seems to keep all the pigeon and birds away! When the sunlight reflects on it, it does its magic. Very effective and cost effective. It has kept my space clean and bird poop free!

Birds kept pooping around my patio table, regardless of how many times I moved it from one end of the porch to the other, the birds kept pooping under and around it.I taped some of the tape to the edges of the table and let it stream down and no more birds or bird poop.
