It was a graduation gift for our grandson. So, I think he was totally surprised. So was I. I started making two different quilts and hated them both. They are currently in bags in the back of a closet.

My biggest problem with this is that the filler is only sewed in around the edges and not in the middle at all. This makes washing it nearly impossible because ithe filling will separate from itself and leave holes causing lumps and empty spots inside the comforter. I solved this issue by placing my own stitching in four different areas to keep it in place. It washed well after that. In cold water.

I was a little concerned about how thin it was. I would have liked to see it thicker & more plush but my daughter absolutely LOVES it (mostly for the UK advertising)! Overall, glad I purchased because the thinness is good in spring & fall when you don't require as much warmth. :)

Very cheaply made. Runs in the fabric after first wash in a good quality machine. I would expect a much higher quality item at this price point.

Washes well and did not lose color which is especially a plus since it is for my six year old son. I launder his bedding weekly and I needed something that would not look old and faded after washing. Plus, we are Michigan State Fans!!!!!
