Use this tool to remove studs from an engine block. It broke rhe first day. The springs that hold the jaws in place twisted and broke.

Used to extract a very stubborn body mount bushing bolt that had broken off. Not much bolt protruding to grab onto but enough. Tightened the tool down on to the stud/bolt and began slowly turning with a breaker bar. After a few turns, put on the impact drive and turned the bolt out completely. Tool works as advertised and seems like solid construction.

It's not real heavy duty so keep that in mind. I broke a few 5/16" seat bolts on a jeep and this grabbed them right out. I also used it to remove some exhaust studs in a manifold. I
