  • MADE TO LAST: This kayak paddle is with high-quality aluminum alloy shaft (1.1mm shell thickness) and fiberglass reinforced PP blade. The material combination ensures a stiff and made to last kayak paddle at a better price. It’s a perfect choice for starters and intermediate kayakers.
  • USERES FRIENDLY: The oar shaft is designed with a shrinking PE tube cover. It provides better grip for your hands to prevent blistering. Especially, your hands won’t suffer from the cold feeling from the alloy when you kayak in winter weather.
  • POPULAR LENGTH AT 230CM: Not too short, not too long, the oar is 230cm (90.5 inches) at length. It’s an ideal kayak paddle with moderate length for you and your family. It’s also detachable at 2 sections, so you might carry it around and put it away easily.
  • LEASH/3 ANGLES/ DRIP RINGS: All OCEANBROAD kayak paddles come with a bungee paddle leash. It helps secure your paddle to your kayak, especially when you want to lay down the oars, stop by a little bit to enjoy great views around. The paddle is with 3 locking positions for different kayaking angle preference. The drip rings at two ends help stop water flowing from the blades. So, the shaft and your hands won’t get wet easily.
  • SUITABLE FOR MORE: With high-quality aluminium shaft and fiberglass reinforced PP blades, the paddle ensures a nice performance in kayaking. Whether you are a starter or a pro, it's easy to master this paddle soon. Find the one to suit your kayak, and just paddle on.

Nice paddles. Light, well constructed, easy to dismantle. They pair nicely with my Tucktec foldable kayak. I tuck the paddle dismantled paddle into the kayak strap and it fits easily into the back of my car. They held up well on the sharp coral and oyster beds in the Florida inlets.

For the price, this is a great buy. The green/yellow color is nice and bright. Easy to snap the two sides together and the handle/grip is adjustable. Comes with a leash so you don’t have to worry about losing it if you take a tumble. Durable enough for the price and just taking a leisurely paddle.

I'm a very casual kayaker, like 1-2 hours on calm water once a week during the summer in an inflatable yak so I don't need very high-tech gear. Very pleased with how well this paddle worked for the price. Also seems well constructed (no rattles). If you are trying to qualify for the Olympics probably not your first choice but meets my needs very well.

Cheap paddles work well for a quick rip around the lake.

I'm new to kayaking and needed some paddles. These ones came with good reviews and I'm happy to say I agree with them. These paddles are super easy to put together, they're very functional, have good length, easy to take apart for easy storage and there are sevel color options which is fun! Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend these paddles.

This paddle arrived at my door on the specified day with no dents or dings to the box. It arrived last week and I used it for the first time today with my Pelican Argo 100xr. I was quite happy with how the paddle performed and propelled the kayak quite effortlessly. The handle has a coating of some sort that makes it very easy to hang onto, even when it is wet. The paddle is light-weight, sturdy and I was pleasantly surprised at its quality, especially for the price. I admit that I am very new to paddling and I have only used a higher-end paddle, a Werner, twice, but this Oceanboard 230 cm paddle performs just as well. It's just not made with the fancy materials the higher-priced paddles are. I wholeheartedly recommend this paddle to anyone.

I bought this paddle for several reasons, one being its bright green color. Besides looking good on my kayak (especially once I get more green accessories), it can also get attention from boats passing by to help make sure I’m seen on the water, for safety reasons.I bought a 240cm paddle to downsize from the 250cm Pelican Poseidon Angler that I had previously bought. One thing I learned was if your paddle is the wrong size then it causes all sorts of problems. The Pelican was too long and was fatiguing my shoulders to use it. I tried my wife’s 230cm and it was much better but felt just too short so I went in the middle with a 240cm and it worked out perfectly. I chose this Ocean Broad for the value, the cost was very reasonable, and it appeared to be of good quality just looking at the pics, and when it arrived it did not disappoint. This Ocean Broad is every bit the same quality as the Pelican paddle. The two halves snap together firmly and do not wobble. The blades are made of a stout poly material and do not flex during use. One thing I like about them is that they do not have the drip notches carved into them that the Pelican paddle does, and that is another reason I got it. The Pelican was slinging water on me due to those notches, bypassing the drip rings altogether. I noticed if I used it upside down then it was better, so I when I was looking for a new paddle I knew I wanted one that just had smooth edges. This Ocean Broad was the one, it does not have those notches and does not sling water on me like the Pelican did. The smooth blade edges combined with the drip rings on the shaft work together to prevent that. The water runs along the edges of the blades until it contacts the drip rings and then it drips off at a different angle, falling back into the lake instead. I slid the rings all the way down to the ends of the shaft next to the blades to stop water drip before it gets over my kayak. The rings themselves are made of a hard rubber, not like those whanny, squishy little cups found on some other paddles. They are very durable. This paddle also has shrink wrap grips to hold onto, and they provide a good grip even when wet. Also the shaft does not have the flattened, oval area for the right hand grip that a lot of other paddles have. To me, I like this better, I prefer a round shaft to grip for both hands.Weight is what you would expect. It’s not as light as a fiberglass paddle costing $100 but it certainly is not heavy either. I used it for 3 hours straight on the first trip out with it, and I did not get tired. This is a long review for a low cost paddle, but I just wanted to describe it to let others know who might be skeptical of it based on that low cost and seeming lack of features that higher cost paddles have. To me, this is what makes it desirable. It’s got all it needs to make a dependable paddle for traveling way up the lake with no worried about getting back, and to make that trip enjoyable. The fact that it’s easy on the wallet is a bonus.

Good price for durable, easy-to-use paddles for entry level paddling. Did not find these to be much of a downgrade compared to much more expensive paddles we had years ago. The drip guards don't seem to do a lot to keep you from getting wet, but that is pretty standard fare across any paddle I have tried. My only complaint is that the black paint chipped a bit almost immediately at the middle where the two parts push together. Otherwise these are a nice purchase.
