The blades are asymmetrical to equalize the force on both sides of the blade when paddling, which in turn results in less twisting of the paddle. The high impact plastic blades are lightweight and reinforced with fiberglass for added durability. Blade angles are adjustable with a simple release of the spring loaded pin and a twist of the lightweight anodized aluminum shaft

Initially bought these as cheap backups to keep in the boats but have used them as primaries on some pretty big water when I thought the odds of losing one of my expensive paddles was high. Because of their light weight (and fear of losing one), I opted to bring both on a 200 mile trip which included a 40 mile portage (yes, forty) in the Alaskan interior. After the portage, we finished out the trip on a sustained class IV canyon (about 15 miles). Maybe 2/3 of the way through, I felt the shaft beginning to flex and was able to find 1/2 an eddy to swap the shaft with the other. Upon exiting the canyon, I noticed the piece I had swapped out was beginning to develop the same crack. My plan is to trim them both down (would love them to be 200-205cm anyway) and re-drill just 1 hole for a fixed feather which hopefully increases the strength. Overall, impressed with their weight, performance, and price.

Highly portable, fits together easily, no noticable leaking or flexing. Paddles can be fit straight or twisted.

Great value as a spare paddle to carry in the kayak storage compartment. Lighter than more expensive paddles, fairly sturdy, and packs into a small space. I always carry an extra paddle and this is one is perfect; as I don't have to carry a two-piece paddle on the deck anymore.

I bought this as a backup paddle the third time I got halfway to the water with my kayak and realized I didn't have my paddle and had to abort.Yeah, it's a crappy aluminum shaft in 4 pieces with a plastic blade, and you wouldn't want this as your primary paddle. Fine. I get that. But it's better than no paddle ad that is its best use. Leave it under your main hatch for when you forget your paddle, or someone in your party loses their paddle on the water. It is serviceable and cheap and compact enough to just be left in your boat and forgotten about until needed.I ran a length of paracord through the holes in the shaft where it pops together, and the end pieces I just drilled a 3/8" hole in the blade so one piece of cord keeps all of it together and snapped to an eyepad under the hatch so if I ever need it I won't be fishing for parts that slid to the other end of the hull.

Compré este artículo hace un par de meses y hasta ahora me funciona bien. Lo recomiendo si lo usan en aguas donde no hay corriente fuerte ya que los seguros de ajuste están un poco anchos y el movimiento fuerte podría hacer que el remo se desarme

You get what you pay for. It decent but not anything special. Its a very light paddle but not as ridged so there is a slight lean to the frame if you feel carefully. Overall, if you want a kayak paddle for little to nothing, this is it.

So far it's great, I only used it once but the weather was extremely windy and yet I manage to paddle well with this light weight paddle. It's also super portable and easy to assemble. I am satisfied with this product.

I bought this paddle about 18 months ago. It served me well considering the price until last week when I noticed a fracture in the shaft at the center joint likely due to the repetitive flexing of the shaft on each stroke. I was out on the water about 3 miles from home and the crack was already 3/4 around the shaft. Luckily I made it back. Also, the sectional joints gave a bit when paddling and over time they've allowed some water to enter the paddle shaft.

I got these paddles on March 29 and use them as soon as I could, they work great and are very easy to store because they can be separated into four parts. They are very light and easy to use, I have 2 children beginning in kayaking and they love them.
