This kayak paddle has easy length adjustment and 3 positions for paddle rotation in relation to each end.

I like that the paddle size adjusts to be shorter or longer so I can paddle various sizes of boats. I don’t like that the holes for the size adjustment line up with where I grip the paddle

I didn’t need a paddle when I bought this, but I was kayaking and tried my friend’s for a few minutes after she raved about it. Loved it so much I didn’t want to give it back. Lightweight and super comfortable…way better than the one I paid twice as much for. Now I use this one and my other one sits in the garage gathering dust.

Light compared to our aluminum paddles, but we ordered silicon grips to avoid sharp edges on the adjustable section. Can't wait to try them out

Super lightweight and rigid. Buy one of these and you will feel dumb for not buying it sooner. The leash is also top quality.

Too be honest just got it. Will not be able to use it till the Spring.Very light weight, packaging was unreal. Boxed, then sealed in plastic sleeve, then more sleeve inside of it. Very impressive with the way this company packs and ships their products. They will be someone I would buy from again.Thank you for your top notch quality products,

We wanted it to be long for our kayak. This perfect. I like the adjustable locking system. Lightweight but feel sturdy. We have a 2 person and I will now order this one again si we have 2.

We have only used the paddles once but they seem pretty good. Noticeably lighter than aluminum paddles we have used previously. They seem well constructed, with no flex in the shafts. The edges of the holes that are drilled for the adjustments were a little sharp so I smoothed things over with some 320 grit sandpaper.

If you just want to say you have a paddle with some carbon fiber in it, then buy this. I trust them that it's there. It is also not a bad value. However, I would recommend other options for a similar price if you just want the best paddle for your money. I have a Bending Branches Whisper that I used before this. It is only slightly more expensive. It's aluminum, but only weighs about 3 ounces more. And it gets a lot more bite on each stroke. I felt like I was paddling with a broom stick when I first switched to this Oceanbroad paddle. It seemed like i wasn't getting anywhere. I got much more power and traveled farther with each stroke with my other paddle.I also don't like that I have to hold part of the shaft that has holes in it when I use this at its longest setting. It is not comfortable to hold it in that area.Personally, if I wanted a cheap paddle, I would go with the basic paddle from a big sporting goods store. If I want light, I would go with a more expensive carbon fiber paddle - lighter than this and more efficient paddling. If I want value and balance, I would go with the Whisper, especially when it's on sale. There is nothing wrong with this paddle - it works, and seems strong enough. I don't think it will break easily and strand you anywhere. But any benefit you think you are getting from carbon fiber will be lost by all the extra strokes you need to take to move through the water. And it is really not that lightweight.

I've only used this once but for a low priced paddles i think it is worth it. Added better drip rings. Nice leash too! Tried it adjusted a little larger and was perfect. That to me is the icing on the cake, use it in your fishing kayak and then a simple adjustment and use for your rec kayak. Would i stress it out by bridging on every and exit? Probably hard on it but it's built sturdy for the weight and price.

I used this one day and like it well enough. I can really move the water, the paddle end is sturdy and well designed for moving water. Very light weight and thick enough poke for a 5’10 225# guy to grip all day with no issues. I think a lady would do very well also. I have used it as a lever to get off rocks with no issues, rather surprised at the strength. Mine is a full carbon tube and I worked with carbon fiber as a carbon fiber technician so yes I know a carbon tube. The thin tube is prone to bulging around the push button holes. Can’t be helped with a light weight tube like this. Wish the carbon was a 1/16 thicker. Changed length easily and can be shifted 45 degrees for off set paddles CW or CCW or even. The tube is perfectly round and not oval so I had to look to see how to set the paddle if I lost the grip. A oval rods enable the rower to know by feel how to hold the paddle. Oval is better but not at this price point and it loses the ability to cant the paddles 45 degrees CW or CCW by simply twisting the the center to the next notch. I think this is great for light to medium use, definitely not for the company or business with hard daily use. The tube is too delicate for rentals. For personal use with a person who is not a gorilla I think it will work great.

It's carbon fiber and when it went on sale for $65 cdn, the was no question in my mind that I had to own it. It is adjustable in both length and pitch. It is well built and I dare to say that it is now the lightest paddle I own even compared to my other carbon fiber paddles. I wouldn't take it into real whitewater but a long day of casual touring, this paddle is light enough to be called a God sent. The only points I would take off is on blade shape but having said that, it is stiff enough and it does gets points added back on being that it is fricking real carbon fiber. Even for beginner, (as my grand kids would say) you can totally level up and up your kayaking game with a well build and lighter paddle.
