HOW TO MEASURE CORRECTLY
You might say we talk out of the mouth of babes, but safety comes first. After learning how to take their temperature correctly, using your new digital thermometer is a child's play.
Using the armpit is the safest procedure and is good for screening purposes; however it is the least accurate and best to only use for a quick read to know if you should be concerned and continue on to take a rectal method measurement. If the armpit temp is above 99° F (37.2° C ), please re-check with a rectal reading.
