I found this book to be very helpful in my first few weeks of clinical. I was able to remember histories and plan/assessment when doing my patient logs. Would definitely recommend for first quarter/semester of clinical

I waited until the 3rd week of my clerkship to buy this- out of cheapness- and as soon as I got it my organization with presenting patients/knowing what to ask in clinic took a full 180 and I felt SO much more confident, competent, and able to spend my time learning and taking care of patients instead of being nervous about my crappy presentations!Praise-loved the one liner section-great family hx including common hereditary cancer red flags-good amt of room for HPI and a/pPossible Improvements:-gyn history including sexually active/partners + detailed menses (length, irregular, heaviness),-OB history portion that asked more details about G’s and P’s, EFW, pregnancy complications, EDD- physical exam including pelvic and breast-labs section including common ob labs (UPC, screening results

I’m an FNP student and this book has been very helpful in my OB rotation! I am very pleased with it and will most likely end up ordering two more. Easy to jot everything down quickly to remember later.

I must have for keeping track of patients and organizing your history taking and chart review. Makes you look prepared for the residents and attending. I do wish that there was more space allotted for each patient, rather than there being so many templates in each book… I never get anywhere near through all of them

Great for 3rd year clinical rounds. Includes areas you need to ask questions about and lab tables with details of what to fill in as you go. It might be nice to have a slightly smaller option that would fit in your pocket better.

Very helpful tool as a third year medical student. Using this notebook makes it much easier to organize patient history/oral presentations without omitting any key information! In the OB/GYN notebook specifically, I found the CC and GYN history sections particularly helpful. Only complaint is that the writing on the front cover rubs off pretty easily, even from just the oils on your skin. I ended up using a dab of cooking oil to completely rub off the writing so that it wasn't smudged.

I'm a medical student and I got this notebook for my OB/GYN clerkship. It's so useful. It's the perfect size - small enough to fit in white coat pocket, big enough that it's not awkward to write on. There's enough pages for 100 patients and the format makes it super easy to write up your note after. The pages have a perforation to tear them out which is perfect for protecting patient privacy and shredding the information when you don't need it anymore to comply with HIPAA. It also comes with a cheat sheet insert with normal lab values, murmur grading, reflex grading, and more. What makes the OB/GYN notebook different than the standard is a section specific to menstrual and obstetric history, pediatric lab values and APGAR scoring on the cheat sheet, and additional useful pocket cards. I love it!

This book has pertinent information for pregnancy and female issues. This can be overlooked when doing an exam, but the prompts for the information in the book are very valuable. I am very glad I chose to get this. I can have one page for each patient and rip it out and shred it away when done with documentation. Very handy to have at the bedside to look at for reminders. Clinicals are tough and this is one way to make it a bit smoother.
