This worked fine. Definitely a bit of a job to get to it. But youtube those directions and there's a guy who does the whole thing in the parking lot of autozone so it's not too bad. Gets rid of that clunking sound when you go over bumps in the road.

This was a perfect part. Took a bit of work but I changed it myself. No rattling in the steering anymore 😊

My car had the most annoying rattle noise every time I hit a bump or drove over uneven surfaces. I suspected this was the reason, and I was right! Took the dashboard apart and installed it myself. It took me about 2 hours. My 2014 Camry feels brand new!

If your toyota has a weird chattering sound in the dashboard, this little plastic piece is probably why! Totally tightened up my steering and stopped the weird wandering/chatter! BTW: In a 2008 XB you can do the entire service from the top, you just need to take the dashboard off, which involves taking the A pillars off, a few philips screws, 4x 10mm at the radio, and a 12mm passenger airbag screw, after that just take the two bolts holding the motor off, vacuum out the old disintegrated one, pop this new one in and put it all back together!
