I used this on a boiler to see what the ph was on the water being run out the lower drain of the boiler it turned out it was very acidic so had to add a filter to break down the ph, it worked

We have had ours for 10 years and it was great, so decided to try it again.

Use this daily at me wastewater plants. I check calibration every morning with buffers 4,7&10. Dropped it a few times and it’s been soaked plenty of times. It’s still going strong and not one issue.

I purchased this almost a month ago to check pH of my elderberry syrup. Used it a few times and I can’t determine how to read this properly.I follow the instruction. Did the calibration.when I get a reading, I stir again and the number continues to go lower, get another reading, stir again and the number will goes lower again and so on.So what would be the accurate reading if it keeps getting lower every time I agitate it?I only have a few days left to eligible to return.I’m not sure.

Shipped fast during covid very happy they made an effort to get it to me early and the pen is great just remember to only calibrate when needed. It has a volatile memory so when it reads over 8.10 ph for 7.0 Calibration the pen Is toast the it away. It's a 1 year pen if tested well being used daily. 6 months for rough growers but it is super accurate better than blue lab etc. I always buy a ph30 oakton. Double junction and to the 100th point. Accurate.

I purchased 2 of these testers to perform standard drinking water quality testing of the PH and water temperature. These units are used multiple times daily. 1 of the units will no longer turn on and the other cannot be calibrated to read the proper PH levels. The previous version of the exact same tester has been in use for at least 10 years, got dropped and it failed, which is why we bought the exact same units.

it takes little too long to read the PH. I wish it was faster. almost takes a minute to stabilize and locks with a PH with 0.01 accuracy. I needed something with 0.1 ph accuracy that could lock faster on a number. and also, I wish it would make a beep or something to know that the reading is over.

Typically buy these from Ben Meadows and can get at least 1.5 years out of them (regular use doing environmental water monitoring). Bought through Amazon for the first time and we got about 10 uses out of it before it died. Of course, right outside of the return window as well!Update - managed to get a new one, same thing happened. They did a redesign and it is terrible. We will be researching new options.
