Put these chains on top/over old thin crappy chains still on tires. A real pain to fasten them on, you know the crappy hook stuff that have to bust you butt with 2 pliers to get attached. One fell off, but the real pain InTheAz one is glued on, go figure. Once attached firmly, they appear bullet proof on stickk off tires about 3/4 inch. Real grabbers.
