I don't care what they claim chains are superior, I live in the mountains and you have long stretches of deep snow and short patches of ice and they shred on ice not pavement and not gravel ice they shred . Don't waste your money and buy chains and to me their harder to put on than chains . They did work but they shred by the second use and all the videos show them lasting , in the real driving conditions your not going to take them off and put them back on twice just to go to the grocery store or take them on and off just to go to work when it's -5 degrees and you cars fenderwells are packed with snow . I live 6500 ft above sea level and the most dangerous conditions is once the plow truck have done a pass and it's ice and snow spots and these just shredded

Ready for the winter. It is a good feeling knowing I'll have some degree of protection ready to install and use in case of bad weather and unexpected road changes.

Not too difficult to put on, seemed like they were gonna be really great at first. Just used them for the first time today, good traction, but one of them is already in complete shreds.😩

I got these in case I got stuck up the mountain in snow with bad tires. Right now, I've got a fresh set of tires so there really isn't a need for them. However, once I lose that tread, these will come in handy. I've also got a set of chains if these aren't up for the task. From what I've seen though, socks perform well in the snow, just not in ice. These socks are great for when you need some extra traction but don't want to fuss with putting chains on.

Worked awesomely . We could get up and down our hill in first try -otherwise would be trapped . Shared with neighbors too .

I recently ordered the snow socks for my 2014 Versa Note (15 in tires). We have a pair that we were impressed with how well they worked and wanted another pair to keep in this vehicle. We recently had six inches of snow, which for West TN, is a lot. My husband put these on the night before the snow easily with no issues. The socks allowed us to get to and from work with no issues for two days. We did loose one, but even down one, allowed for safer travel with better traction.

KANIYA Snow socks for tires EN 16662-1 Approved snow socks for car Snow chains Pack of 2 Washable QuickThese XL fit my 2018 Subaru Outback that has 225/60 R18.I have seen many reviews of snow socks on you tube before ordering any and they only take 2 mins to install, 1 min per tire. Road tests show they have more traction for acceleration and braking than snow chains with less time to put on an less potential damage to your vehicle. We have 3 vehicles and can only put chains on a pickup truck due to the proximity of steering and suspension parts on the other two vehicles, hence these snow socks.People often give this type of product a negative review stating it picks up snow so quickly so will not work. They made an incorrect asumption, these are intended to accumulate snow in the material and it is the snow against snow that causes the increase in traction.Thank you for reading my review of this product. I hope you found it helpful!REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.
