I used this to protect my Lilly pads from my Koi. Works great. Otherwise my Koi would have eaten the plant.

Lots of room for plants.

The foam rim isn't a solid piece of foam, but rather 3 separate pieces that you have to assemble by inserting the ends of the separate sections into small plastic connecting tubes. The plastic tubes aren't effective at all in holding the sections of foam together though. My koi bump it and very easily have the sections pulled apart in no time. I get tired of putting it back together all the time. Unfortunately it hasn't been effective for protecting my plants either. It's expensive for such a poor design. Save your money, it doesn't do the job.

the foam comes it three pieces and is square is isn;t good as you have to slide the three pieces through the net. yes, you have to assemble this low quality item. the product is definitely not worth it's price. t's cheap product. there are better ones out there assembled and better quality

I used this with water hyachinths by sealing up the bottom. It didn't work. My koi were able to get at the roots. I plan to add another layer of netting to see if that will prevent the koi from getting at the roots.

Works well to keep fish off of plants. When buying, consider the height of the pot as well as the depth of the pond to see what length you need.
